@PeregrineTook , There is a project by Alexrandria called the Family Empire. I'll provide a link in my first post. I can't find one that's ever been completed. It'll take a lot of planning (my forte). What I'm most worried about is file bloat.

Hmm, I just checked out the write up on it.  Sounds like a lot to manage, which makes me think you'll do wonderfully  :=)

Thanks everyone, and @Magpie2012 , the HoF is for Dynasties. The town jump is a much more relaxed sort of thing, but it does give structure and an end goal to the game which some of us (me) need.

Just catching up after an unexpectedly long break.

The next day she completed her lifetime wish by going from zero to ten in painting before even completing a single canvas, and from zero to ten in guitar so quickly she almost missed the wish to max it. All this made her excited enough to puke.

Only in The Sims...

It was going really well until she drove into the ocean and emerged on the next island beneath the sand. Gabrielle was reset to a different island, the car was sent back home to the garage, and Isla ran around until she completed level 3. Well, whatever works.

There was very nearly a coffee/keyboard incident here  .

No, I hadn't thought of that. But, it's a good idea! Thanks! I'll check to see what would be involved. There aren't very many towns at this point but that could probably be worked around.

@JudesSims and of course the amount of towns will get bigger as we go on... The only problem I could really see is that when you move towns in TS4, it's not a fresh town so you will still have your relatives running around and none of the old townies, unless you uploaded to the gallery and then started in a new save (but I think that removes the skills etc doesn't it?)
