SSD
« on: September 23, 2015, 07:10:55 PM »
Hello,
i dreamed that since a few years but it just happened: I got a SSD drive (120Go)

Would anyone tell me what i have to put on it to get better perf for TS3 (and TS4)?

windows is on /C (i would rather not re-install it if possible)
my document folder and TS3 program files (not same folder oc) on /D.

What is most important to move? What less?
I may move other games maybe too (like skyrim modded, GTA V when i can afford it,others...)

How should I think all this?

Thanks for any advice.

For best results as far as loading times go, install the Sims games on the solid state drive.

Thank you.

Should i guess then that installing "my documents" on the SSD won't make a big difference? (Loading and playing smoothly)

Moving the My Documents folder onto the ssd would speed up loading times, but that's about it. Loading things like clothing and such in Create a Style wouldn't be affected.
