Too many sims, please help!

I know this is going to sound stupid... But I officially have 26 sims. In. One. House. They are driving me completely insane but I can't get rid of them without killing them. HOW DO I GET RID OF THEM WITHOUT KILLING THEM OFF?!

I prefer the move option on the smart phone. It's under real estate I believe. Have the sim click on move within this neighborhood. From there you can select the sims you want to move. You then have the option to buy them a house (they will take their inventory along) or to kick them out. This option is free and the game will place them in a house.

How do 26 sims fit in one house? Only 8 is allowed at maximum.

I know there are mods that allow this, but I can barely abide with 8.

Around 15 is my own limit. if more game breaks. Or me.
It s pretty easy to split the 26 in different houses in edit town, and to keep them alive and watchable with nraas mods

It's funny, but I play so many challenges where edit town is forbidden after starting that I didn't think of that option. I went straight to the smart phone.

The neat thing about the smart phone option though, is that you can kick them out and the game will assign a house to them regardless of cost. When you use the edit town method, the house must be within their budget. You would have to move them to an empty lot first and either cheat them the money or sell stuff in their inventory so that they can afford a house. I prefer the kick out method.
