Sneaking availability?
« on: September 03, 2015, 10:39:01 AM »
This situation I have is weird. Three boys were born to normal parents, nothing like burglars or NPC firemen. However, there is an odd quirk to them.

They all have the "Sneak Here" interaction available.

I'm probably going to sound skeptical, but I don't think Sims just get the interaction out of nowhere. How are they able to use it?

None are Evil. Here are all the traits:

1) Computer Whiz, Family-Oriented, Loves the Outdoors, Angler, Dramatic, Genius
2) Heavy Sleeper, Neurotic, Artistic, Virtuoso, Good Sense of Humor
3) Ambitious, Lucky, Workaholic, Easily Impressed, Charismatic, Bookworm

I don't think any of those contribute to the interaction, do they?

None of those traits should cause sneaking.

I know the father got it at level 7 of his investigator career, but that shouldn't extend to his children, who were born before he achieved it.

Private Eye isn't the only trait which enables sneaking, there's also Burglar which you get once you reach level 7 of the criminal (thief) career and NPC burglars carry this trait aswell.

If you want to find out which hidden traits your household members have then quit your game (after playing this one household only), then go to "C:\Users\<Junan>\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3", open Sims3Logs and look for Burglar or PrivateE~ (long names are cutoff).
