My Crickers flipped §350,957 worth of homes, and I think they officially hate moving home as much as I do in real life.

Well, unfortunately I had a failure.  Donald Tramp and Alana Sugar could not continue flipping as they did not have enough money to buy the next Crick.

To add insult to injury, I couldn't even place one of their 'always' objects on the current lot as it was not big enough.

 :-[

Thank you for telling me how to calculate the value of the current lot, it was a shame not to be able to use that information.

Well done to all of you who completed the flip.

Gheez, you'd at least be able to report the value of your first home, right? That's better than a DNF on the leaderboard. :)

Thank you.  It will be good to have a score :)

The total value of the homes that I have lived in, including the value of the one I cannot afford to move from, is £56,241.

(The value of the first home is £13,578.)

This event is now closed. Congratulations to Nutella! With such awesome house flipping skills HGTV has decided to give her her own show which will start in two weeks! Okay that last sentence is not true. Lol. But, great job to all - thank you for participating and you can now talk about strategy.

Congratulations Nutella!

I did put a fair amount of free time into this challenge, but keep getting involved in projects around the house and for the car.  Up until July, my husband had a job that required us to be traveling almost all the time.  Now that his position has changed and we're not traveling anymore, it seems like there are a mountain of projects I'd like to work on, not to mention unpacking that we never managed to finish.  There have also been a lot of people to see and out of town events to attend.  I probably won't be doing the next challenge either, but I might try to take a break from the projects in order to do the finale.

I made a husband and wife team, both have fast learner, loves outdoor, loner, and family oriented trait.  Fast learner for skills, loves outdoor for the +2 happy moodlet when outdoor, loner for the +1 moodlet when alone (mainly for wife), and family oriented for the faster making friends bonus.

Both change their aspiration to soulmate and started doing all the requirements to complete it.  Once they each have 3000 whims, buy great kisser and start kissing each other till they each have Charisma 9.  The was completed during 1st day so they had plenty of time to ask for loan (small and big) before their 1st move.  I prioritize charisma ask for loan over the business career because that brings in more money than career.

I kept them working on other aspirations to get points.  Husband finally have enough to buy Never Weary, Connections, and Frugal and I had him start business career, it was 1st week Friday.  Wife never work in career, only stay home and work on asprations for whims and skills (painting, handiness, and fishing).  Wife bought Savant, Never weary, creative visionary, and marketable rewards.

The four items I bought before first move was important in my strategy.  I bought an easel (for paintings), woodworking table (for mascot sculptures), a $2015 bed (for faster energy gain during sleep), and a wedding arch.  The arch is for my couple to renew vows every 2 days for the +3 happy moodlet, great for husband during work and instrumental for wife success staying home.

I play with all the expansion pack, but don't have any stuff pack.  I jot down all the valuable buy mode item (30 most valuable ones) and then replace the last 3 least valuable ones with painting, mascot sculpture, and fish.  At the end of the game, my wife sim painted a $12,682 abstract painting, created a $4443 mascot sculpture, and fish up a $3246 sturgeon.  Husband kept on working the business career to get more money because creating paintings and sculpture takes a lot of money (since I can't sell them afterwards), I had to store everything in wife personal inventory and when the bills came it was horrible.  That is why I made husband buy frugal reward as soon as he can, helps a little but still very expensive bills.

Wife stay home to work on getting high quality paintings and mascot sculptures, in order to do that she needs to be very inspired or very focused.

Wedding renew vow -- +3
Loves outdoor -- +2
Inspired Shower -- +1
Inspired Memory -- +1
Cloudgaze -- +1
Loner -- +1   (adds up to +9), more than enough to get very inspired.

Wedding renew vow -- +3
Loves outdoor -- +2
Simpedia -- +1 (use public library computer)
Research Gardening -- +2 (use public library computer)
Happy Memory -- +1
Loner -- +1   (adds up to +10), more than enough to get very focused.
