Teen babysitters in Late Night
« on: November 11, 2010, 12:09:25 PM »
In Late Night is the teen curfew still at 11pm?  Have not been able to find it anywhere. My sims both have opportunities to complete and they all have to do with bars and discos. Don't want the sitter to have to leave the toddler alone and have to deal with a major scandal.

My sims were just invited to a party starting at 9pm. They both went and came home at 2am and the sitter stayed. Good to know.

I've had sitters stay all night before, before LN came out. I don't think the babysitters get hit by the curfew.

If it is a big concern for you, try a butler.

My teen sitters have also stayed. A few have stayed overnight. Glad it's not an issue!

Thanks for the replies! This was something I had never tried. My sim did get a mini wish to hire a butler but after reading all the posts about it I had decided not to for now. Although it would be a good thing to do until the toddler ages up. My sims are now both five stars and didn't want them to have to deal with that kind of scandal of having left their baby alone while partying. Much to still learn in Late Night.

I had one teenager complain he had to be somewhere(School), but he still stayed. They will not leave the kids alone, so that's always good.

I don't have late night and I found that the babysitter was still home when I came back. (She was actually sleeping on the couch- what lazy service)

If you've hired a babysitter, he/she won't leave until you return home or until the day is over, regardless of what messages you get that he/she needs to leave.

Thanks Pam. I have never before had sims that late coming home. With Late Night and all the opportunities they need to do with bars, lounges and discos they tend to be coming home pretty late. I have only ever hired a sitter when both my sims are on different work shifts. In Late Night there is always parties and lots of other things going on that they end up coming home quite late.
