I don't know which one I am going to vote for, they all sound good!

Between Sims in Space, Enchanted Forest, Science City and Riviera, I voted Science City. The other two aren't that attractive.

That is funny.  I chose the Eco Town world.   I liked all of them though except Route 66.  I was really torn between the one I voted for and Ruinsville.

I voted for Rivera, but it looks like Enchanted forest will win, with Route 66 in second... It's too bad, but Enchanted Forest was my second choice.

I can't tell if this is a bonafide vote to choose the next town or if EA is just putting this out there just for entertainment.  I voted for Sims in Space.

Sims in Space might be cool...Have aliens with strange houses and I'd go for that idea. It'll give me a excuse to use the blue and green skins.

I would have voted for enchanted forest and ruinsville.

I don't like the space idea because it just sounds like a place that would look like earth, it just isn't...

I suppose that it doesn't really matter as I would have found it very difficult to just choose one favourite.

There was a problem viewing community news on IE before.  Try a different browser.  I use Google Chrome and I see it fine.  I also tried it out on my IE, running version 8, and I see it fine on that too.  The poll is on kind of in the middle on the right hand side of the screen.  Can you load and see the other link I put up?  There is a link in the forum post that takes you too the community area also.  Good luck.

I use Firefox (on a mac) and it still doesn't work. There is a section for "community poll" but it's empty.

I use Google Chrome but I've just tried it in Internet Explorer - still no joy.

I have noticed a change on the site recently.  Previously, at the bottom of the forum page I used to see links for some Australian based threads but now I see a special section dedicated to the UK.  I'm wondering if this poll is only for those of you accessing the US or Australian site?

Irritatingly, I know how to change which version (ie UK or US, etc) of the EA Spore site but I can't seem to see where to change it for the Sims 3 site.  (Incidentally the US Spore site was better than the UK one.)

Thanks again though for giving so much detail - I'm hoping you'll also update to let us know the winner.

I wish they had some rough draft of shots of these potential world. As much as the idea sounds fun, I can't fully look forward to another world after all this frustration of placing lots from Late Night. I hope someone over at headquarters heard my cry and won't be so hill happy. Do you think they will also make houses to go along with the worlds? A space station house, a house made out of recycled wood? Egyptian pyramid houses and sandy homes? Maybe tree houses and magical beanstalks? Our current houses may not fit in very well on a planet.   

At first I was all about Route 66. But then I remembered I can't make Car-shaped Sims and I don't think Nater will be as funny speaking Simmish. Darn.

I liked the idea of making a life on a new planet and it would be cool to get some new skin colors. Same with the City of Science. It sounded like they would be including some new skins with that one. Maybe?

I did like the Enchanted Forest. I always wanted to try making fairies and elves and magical creatures. Can you imagine them blended in with the whole vampire thing? That would be hilarious to me.

I'm torn between Enchanted Forest and Riviera. I think I'm going to vote Riviera. I still can't make Sims shaped like cars but how can you go wrong being rich right?

@ Gheez, if you scroll right down to the bottom of the page you will find a globe icon in the left corner.  This allows you to change language and if you pick English>US then the poll will appear and you can vote.  You can always change it back afterwards.

I'm using Safari on a PC and am in Canada. The poll shows up fine.

Rough draft shots would be really helpful. I voted for Riviera though, it just sounds like me kinda town.
