Always start in into the future pack
« on: July 31, 2015, 01:53:03 PM »
Hello everyone :)

I'm new here.

I explain my problem... I buy a new computer for my daughter and I buy all the sims 3 and expansion pack trough origin as a gift for her birthday thursday.

I have no idea on how to play the sims :( she's the expert. But I can not ask her to check, it's a birthday surprise.

Now the problem.

All the icon where created on the desktop for each pack. But whenever I start an icon, it's always the main screen and then it goes in the "into the future" logo screen. Any pack I try it always do that.

At the bottom of the launcher, I can see all the icon of the pack.

Is it normal? or something is wrong wioth the installation?

Thanks for any help

Yves

hello yves31 and welcome to the forum. What you are experiencing is normal. When you install any expansion or stuff packs to Sims 3 it is all incorporated into the one game. When you launch the game it looks for the latest pack. Note that it looks for the latest pack released, not the last pack you installed. Into the Future was the last pack released for Sims 3, so this will be what the computer loads. Don't worry, all the gameplay and items from the other expansions will be available when your daughter plays.
