Body Shaping - Plastic Surgery
« on: November 07, 2010, 11:56:39 PM »
Now that there is muscle definition and breast augmentation, is it possible to change an existing Sim's body outside of CAS? I'd like my Sim to have better curves since she is in the film career... Thanks!

Sorry, but no.  You cannot change a Sim while ingame.

And how about using the body shape changer thing you can get for, I thought , 40.000 LTP? Isn't that an option?

The Body Sculptor does not offer any breast or muscle definition options.

I think its a bit silly that you can only change your Sims shape in CAS it seems pointless really especially when you play long generational games.

I did enjoy the way the new sliders made my sim in CAS, but now her daughter is Very well endowed and it just looks weird, so I wish there was a way to change this on a sim that wasn't made in CAS!

The only way that I know of to do this is to install a mod. [Post edited to remove discussion of mod]

It's a shame really, plastic surgery could have a lot of fun features, changing the face, breast size etc. And what about moodlets (sims being happy about their new image), random chances (1% chance something botches up, like a very long nose, too big breasts, your sim ending up bald maybe, 10% for sims with bad luck?) and a timer of 7 or 14 days until you can have another change. Elder sims could even be cosmetically helped to appear like their adult version (while still acting like and being elders) while the sum in credits quickly adds up with every change. It is a real shame.

Hi margar3ta, welcome to the forum. You're absolutely right, of course, but on this forum we're discussing ingame plastic surgery for Sims, not for real people. :)

I think it would be hilarious if there was a "plastic surgeon" profession, just like the Stylist profession. :)

It may will come with a weather expansion. 'Ladies and gentleman I announce to you the newest of the newest plastic surgery. Feel yourself beautiful and for the rest feel totally nothing. By the way: stay out of the sun please. Plastic surgery still has some kind of melting problems sometimes.'
