Unable to time travel to the future.

I can go in the portal, but nothing happens, I can get my Sims back easily, but nothing happens. Mods are all fine, no problems there. Been having this issue for awhile.

I searched on this problem and then searched again. What I found was:

It was suggested to try these mods to see if they help.

Nraas Traveler Mod and Error Trap

Traveler will let me travel but trying to travel to oasis landing cancels out, and they get out of the car.

Something else to try is to uninstall/reinstall Into the Future. Something may have corrupted the Oasis Landing files.

Sadly I've done this to, in fact I had to system restore my computer and reinstall the game. But I still have the issue.

How about trying this:

1.   Backup saved games. Click here for a Howto
2.   Do a Factory Reset. Click here for a Howto
3.   Try a new game and see if future travel works.
4.   Copy in old save and do the same.
5.   If it doesn't work, delete the Travel file in the saved game and try it again.

It will wipe any travel progress you've made in your previous game, but if the file was corrupt in the first place, it might be worth testing to see if this helps.

4 more months of going crazy, wondering if my game was just torturing me, and all I had to do was delete a travel file? It worked, I can travel to Oasis Landing, YEAH! At least so far as traveler is concerned. But I'm pretty sure it'll work with the portal. Thank you so much, your awesome! It starting the loading screen for Oasis Landing, which it stopped doing before, I could cry. I guess it just goes to show sometimes bugs are easier to fix then most people think. I love you! You saved my game! :)

Well yesterday it was loading, now no loading screen, I deleted the travel file in all my files.
Edit: Well i'm back at the loading screen, but not sure what'll happen until it loads fully. Yesterday it took over 45 minutes, ans still didn't load to playability.
