Sims Stuck!

Hi, I've been playing the sims for a very long time and have had some sims get stuck in the past or been deleted and I've managed to fix it for find a way around it but I'm really stuck with my most recent problem 

Ok so recently I have been unable to use two out of my 6 sims, one being a married woman with 2 children and another being a puppy. Both of their faces don't appear on the side but their box is still there.

This first happened yesterday and the game crashed. I started the game up again and it's happened again. The sims can't interact with anyone/anything and nothing can interact with them and it's becoming annoying, I don't want to start over or delete anything because I've spent a lot of Time on this family and they're on their 3rd generation which is my second big family after my first one (6 generations) crashed and everything went wrong

Hi Alltimxleh,

The suggested solution from what I've been able to find is to go back to a previous save, if you have one.

I had this problem and going back didn't help. It just kept recurring. I ended up installing Nraas mods (error trap and overwatch). That cleared it up, but apparently one of my sims was carrying some glitched kelp, so check your sims inventories. I've had clown fish cause problems before too.
