I am thinking about trying a different Style of writing? Maybe in First Person? I don't know, I might just switch between the two.  What does anyone think?

Your stories are great samoht.  First person, to me seems to flow better when I try to think of something to write, not sure why, but I can write different using "I" than when using "they" or using a persons name.  I guess it is personal preference.  I remember starting out my Ming dynasty by using first person and when I changed dynasties, I remember reading the first part and using first person.   I hadn't started out like that and I noticed I switched around.  You write very well, so matter what you choose, I am sure it will be great.

I had the same debate in my head when I was starting my dynasty.
I went with first person because it seemed the only way I'd be able to tell my story. However, I think all the different styles that people use sound great.

I think the way I am writing now seems to make it shorter than it is, If I write in frst person and with Speech then it would mean longer chapters.

When it comes to writing, whatever is most "comfortable" for you to write in, will also end up being the best 9 times out of 10.  When the writing comes easily, it will end up being more (touching, funny, sad, tender, romantic) of what you want it to be.  Effort just takes too much work LOL

I have not really had much time for long times of play so I have been building the house, the Bedrooms are all in and most of the rooms that are vital. The Dining Room is nonexistent and they are eating on the breakfast bar. The Old House has been demolished. I really think I may make a record with this house and go over the One million mark.  I am already at 500,000 with a lot of rooms and the landscaping to do.

Whenever I use first person it's because I have a main character I want to focus on, anyone else that comes into that story gets either lines or narrative. I try to switch it up sometimes depending on the mood of the story, if I were to do a Dynasty myself it would probably be narrated since there are going to be so many characters and they would have lines if I found something they did really funny or interesting to the story. I don't see anything wrong with what you have so far, if you want to switch it up try out some style by all means I'll read them all.

Wow. This is such a great dynasty. As far as POV goes, its whatever you feel comfortable with. If you like it, your writing will be good.

Loving your story, samoht.  Declan is gorgeous but so is Cemre.  I love the sculpting too.  My second in my dynasty did the DaVinci challenge and the only thing I hated was the inventing.  He kept burning himself and had to dash into the shower, conveniently place right next to the bench.

Chapter 17 - The Story of Love

My name is Declan Jade, I am the Third Generation of my Family. My family is strange we live forever, gaining wealth, power, knowledge but at the cost of Love, Fun and the time to rest and sit back as our children grow up and our parents move on. My Grandmother is Immortal, she discovered a recipe when she was a Child, it said it would make you live forever. You needed to be accepted though, the Reaper must decide if he will let you live. I have to have a child, an Heir to the family. It is all I need to do for my family now, I have met the other challenges and made my Mother proud. The only challenge is falling in love with someone who you will only see for a small part of your life, how could you live forever as your love dies. Yet here I am, sitting here and telling you about the woman who I met and fell for.

I don't remember how we met we just saw each other around town a lot and then I saw her at the Beach one day, I went to chat and well we got on and became friends within a few hours of meeting. We exchanged our numbers and she started to go home, but I couldn't let her go, I just took her in my arms and kissed her.





The Next day I ran to the beach, hoping she would be there or I would end up looking like some weird person who spends everyday at the same beach.

She was there and I asked her to be my Girlfriend, she accepted but then she told me she was living in some hotel across town. I promptly said she was welcome to stay at my house and she moved in, Mother loved it, she was pampering her like mad, giving her tips and going shopping with her. I managed to get a Lunchtime with her!



I dropped to one knee and pulled the Black Box out of my pocket. I asked Janna to marry me, she accepted and we decided to have the wedding right there on the Beach where we met.




We went back to the House and changed into our Formal Clothes.





We met standing by the Sea on the same spot we met all those Days ago.



The Vows were exchanged I felt like I would be breaking them though, I would live forever and she would not. She was already much older than me, you could say I was her toy boy but we did truly love each other.




We were married there and then on the Beach, my favourite place in the World, next to my Sculpting Stations.

Janna is almost an Elder but I could not find any good looking people suitable for Dec and she was the only good fertile woman around! There are a few Bonus' to Janna though. She has Pre-Maxed Handiness and is going around Upgrading Everything.

Chapter 18 - Gabriella has Wrinkles!


Gabriella has now got her Elder Birthday, this is mainly just a long line of pictures showing her party. 










Of course it isn't a Jade Party without the Dancing!






The Guests were more interested in the Perfect Baked Angel Cake and the Birthday Cake so mainly the family danced and Madeline bathed in the hot tub as usual. 


Gabriella is ready for Ambrosia, I just want to go to Egypt and maybe get a Photo or I might not I have not decided. I think she will just eat Ambrosia. 

In other bad news I have been hit by a Consignment Bug and can not use the Store. At least it happened after Dec reached Level 10!
