Preserving skill levels.
« on: June 24, 2015, 02:15:57 PM »
Something I just wanted to check on.  I am currently working on creating sims for a story I want to set up, with the plan of bringing them together under one roof later.  Once I have them ready, how do I save them so their skills and job levels are preserved?  Do I just save the household to the library?  Example, currently playing a sim through the Athletic career, once he caps it, I want to be able to save him and move him into the final household I will create as the family's personal trainer in a different town.  Does just saving to library do what I need to preserve his skills, job record, and celebrity level?

Yes. Your Sims will retain their skill levels, job and celebrity status as you 'save' them - even if they move towns.
Easiest way to do that is to direct them to a mirror when they are ready and save them that way, I think.
Good luck with your story! :)

I don't think that saves skill levels. Try going to edit town and make a copy of the household there.
