How do I get Newcrest?

I believe it should just automatically appear/download into your game when you update to the newest patch that was released earlier today.

That it was I was thinking too. All day long I checked to see if there was "any upgrade". All day long it says that my game is up to date but no Newcrest. Until now. After your answer I check again and High and Low there it is. It's updating. I thought it would update this morning not at 11:30 p.m. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they restrict the download by area, America first, Europe second, Asia third, etc...  allows them to avoid server overload and all that.

Time is relative to the zone you live in.  EA headquarters are in the Pacific time zone and releases generally happen during their working hours.
