@Tixxis , Rudolph is adorably sweet. Have you ever noticed that sometimes one trait will over shadow all the others? With Rudolph it's Family Oriented. I've never seen anyone wish to get married and have a child faster than Rudolph'
@Malley , I'd hate to lose Fiona's eye color, but it would be worth it for violet eyes.
@Nettlejuice , I was sure lucky this time with the town dying off and all. The singer career seems to have brought sims out of the woodwork though and the town isn't so empty.
@Playalot , I've been to parties like that.
@Trip , Well, he does feel like a dynasty savior.

Oh, did I mention that Rudolph was 8 days to elder when he moved in and a merman? Merfolk are kind of high maintenance, so I let him adapt to land. When he reached one day to elder he got a tattoo so he should be around a while.

Rudolph’s first wish upon moving in was a generic Get Married, soon to be followed by Marry Aria. Let’s free up those two slots. I’m such a romantic.


Maria left us too soon at age 56.
Maria: It’s okay, I’m ready. Too bad about my sculpture though. It would have been a good one.


On her adult birthday, Aria completed the concert that put her over the top in her career.


She had one more thing to do. She celebrated her birthday at the library with her new best friend, Lisa Hannah.

@Tixxis and @Malley, Rebels love their bikes! In my decadynasty I had a ghost rebel still riding his after death (and he was no longer under my control).
@Playalot , Former Floorboos are not picky about such things.


Before long our couple realized they would soon be greeting a new family member.
Rudoph: I think I hear snoring.


Rudolph joined the painter career. Other than Loner, his traits don’t point in that direction, but he got one level and wished to be a painter. They don’t need the money, but it keeps him occupied while waiting for their nooboo.


And we have our first paparazzi lawn death. You’ve performed your last school cheer, lady.


At last heir 15, Aura Doe, arrived. She, in the finest family tradition, is a heavy sleeping virtuoso. She looks like Grandma Maria, so much for the violet eyes.


Aura: You want me to do what?!?


Aura Doe meet Craig the Creepy. He will randomly turn on the tv, and being a heavy sleeper you won’t care.


Rudolph taught Aura to walk while Craig gave unsolicited pointers.


Aura: Okay Lucky, it’s you and me versus Craig and Jess, and Craig is already down. I think we can take them.

Welcome Aura, you're hilarious already...and super cute even without violet eyes. I winced when I realized that your stalking paparazzi were doing school cheers too. Ouch, that's enough to drive any sane watcher right round the twist! It's brought back such vivid imagery that I feel slightly ill. Man I hate those cheers.

@Tixxis, Thanks, some sims just seem to provide funnier screenshots.
@Nettlejuice , The gnomes are creepy, but I keep them around because even Aura gets a +20 moodlet from them.

So Aura had her birthday and just realized what her mother had been wearing all this time.


Since Aura’s birthday was on a Saturday, there was plenty of time to work on getting an A grade. I don’t know who was more confused.


Then she was off to the park to meet….nobody.


Rudolph went to a party. Elders in swimsuits, a death, a fainting, a discussion of the color black (also Rudolph’s favorite)….a good time was had by all.


Meanwhile, at home, we have another incessantly cheering pap. Yer killin me, EA.


On one of her surprisingly frequent trips to the basement museum, Aria had her final birthday.

Aria had her last birthday? That means she's an elder, right? Not that she's dead?
Lol, both Novella and Aria like to go about their business in piquant underwear. Smexy ladies.

Laughed at Aria and Aura struggling over homework, the look on their faces lol! I dreamt about that horrific school cheer last night... and it's been over a year since I've played TS3 university... I can hear every single syllable. I think EA has scarred me for life.

@Tixxis, Yes, just an elder and the nightwear seemed to suit our little midlife crisis rebel.
@Playalot , The cheer is cute the first time, but all night long....Noooo! A second pap has joined the mix. She's a rebel and apparently Evil. Next time they get in a fight, I'll try to take a picture instead of just cheering the rebel on.

Aura shared her birthday cake with her father while her mother was off doing whatever elder rebels do.


Aura added the Brave trait and went to change into some red clothes.


Aria made it home in time to jam with Aura however. They had a great time. Aura reached level 4 and nobody blocked the dishwasher or fridge.


Aura’s teen years went smoothly in a blur of homework and piano playing. She met some babysitters and newspaper deliverers, all boys, at school. She went to prom alone and was voted prom queen. I think she cast the only vote.


The day before her YA birthday, Aura invited her favorite babysitter, Jevon Ledbetter, over and in a blur of blue magic went from friends to best friends. He had already had his birthday so romance was out.


Aura grew up and had a plan in mind.


Her plan involved inviting Jevon over and having him move in. It did not involve having her mother die as soon as Jevon joined the household.
Aria: No I’m not ready. I have over 60k LTH points that I want to spend.
(Okay, so maybe that was me saying that, not Aria)
Rest in Peace, Aria Doe. You died in the afternoon at age 52 and much too soon.


Aura and Jevon carried on bravely with her plan. They both wanted to start careers and didn’t want any time off after the wedding so they were married out in the splendor of the paparazzi infested front yard.


The next day, a Friday, was graduation for both Aura and Jevon. Before heading out to City Hall, they signed up for their chosen careers. Jevon (Workaholic, Excitable, Family-Oriented, Charismatic, Kleptomaniac) wanted to be a CEO and would start on Monday. Aura started that night and was dressed to impress.


Aura’s most recently added trait was Genius as logic is apparently very important for a Ghost Hunter. After work and downing an invigorating elixir, she began using her telescope. She discovered her first star, John Doe.


The next day it all became just too much for Rudolph, and with 6 hours left of mourning at age 57, he joined his beloved wife.


All alone to face the world together, Aura and Jevon took comfort in each other’s company.
