The Progressional Immortal Dynasty

Since the dawn of Similisation, many worlds have been created. Equally as many have been destroyed, often with no progress. In a small city in the most remote place on Earth, a Watcher decided that enough was enough. He took out his tools, and set to work. This time, he'd create a Dynasty that lasted. This time, they would progress. This time, Sims would live.

This was the start of the Progressional Immortal Dynasty.

Self-Imposed Rules

1) I'm starting with only Vanilla, WA, HELS, AMB, FLS, LN and OLS. Every time a Generation is born, I'm going to install an EP and the SP immediately following it (excepting KPST because I don't own it).
2) When Generation 8 is born, ITF will be installed as well.
3) New PC == better and more Screenshots. Time to use Photobucket properly!
4) Babies will be named somewhat after forum members. I did this once before and I really liked how it went.
5) I'm going to attempt a narrative, but I always lose traction (and eventually give up) when I do that. Hence, periodically I'm intending to just do a "here's what happened" with no narrative. Sorry about that. :(
6) Updates will come regularly. I have had a off period with TS3 since TS4 came out (I really do not like TS4), so I'm trying to get back in to the swing of things.

Chapters

Chapter One -- Love and Nooboos

Meet Carl.

Carl is the founder of a Dynasty. He moved to Sunset Valley to escape the stresses of life beforehand, to start anew, so to speak. Rumours flooded the valley, most notably of the loner they called the Hagness. His first day was simple; get a job, get a wife, get a kid. He moved posthaste to his first destination, the Bistro.

"I'd like a job."

"Got any references?"

"No."

"CV?"

"Nope."

"Prior work experience in this, or any field?"

"Nuh-uh."

"You're hired."

[ x ] Get a job
[    ] Get a wife
[    ] Get a kid

Carl then proceeded on to the Hagness' Home. There, he spent the day and night schmoozing, eventually dating, proposing, and marrying, in the span of about six hours. A quick WooHoo later, and they weren't alone anymore.

"This is going so fast, Carl."

"Hey hey, I'm not the controller here. Blame the guy writing this thing."

[ x ] Get a job
[ x ] Get a wife
[    ] Get a kid

A few days, a pained expression, and a trip to the hospital later, and a pink ball of blankets was produced.

Jamie: "Do I live here?"

The O'Rourke's are proud to announce the arrival of their nooboo, Rachel.

[ x ] Get a job
[ x ] Get a wife
[ x ] Get a kid
[ x ] Profit?

Thanks. :) I did it with my Bonanza Dynasty a few years back (if anyone remembers :P ). It was one of my more successful, but I still had an immortal die on me. :( Hopefully this time is different.

This is already fun. I may comment from time to time, but I'll always be reading.

Thank you. :)

Carl and the hagness, lol.  :) *Bookmarked*

Utilitarianism! Woo! :P Seriously though, whenever I do a Dynasty in SV, her or Holly Alto are my spouses of choice, because of that expensive car their beautiful smiles.

Oh this sounds like it will be great.

Welcome back! Great start. Bookmarked.

Thank you both. :) I just realized recently as well that I've never done a comical story. It's not going to be as funny as the Man Dynasty by any means, but hopefully I can make people laugh. :)

Chapter Two -- All the birthdays!

The day started with a bang, some sparkles, growing, and cross-eyed-ness. In a remarkable, unprecedented feat, Rachel seemed to skip her entire toddler years, and she had her child birthday (didn't take any pictures of her as a toddler).

In other news, Carl finished up the Cooking Skill, SuperMaxing it in record time. Here's a shot of him in the wild, cooking.

Carl: "WOO! FISH!"

He also aged up to adult. No midlife crisis, but he keeps telling me about some website.

Rachel also aged up to Teen and started learning Painting. On the left is her self-portrait. Masterpiece!

She also attained a prom date:

The two are currently happy together after their first kiss. After I took this screenshot, I kept the game paused, and switched to Carl, who was in the same room, staring at them.

Carl: "Not bad."

I love Carl's face at the end, congrats on SuperMaxing cooking. Of course the most terrible paintings are masterpieces, lol.

Ooh, this seems really fun. Carl's expression is hilarious at the end.
Good luck on the rest of your dynasty!
