Origin updates every time I power on my laptop?

Hi,

As mentioned in the subject line...ever since the basement update (around that time), every single time I power up my laptop Origin runs updates.  Sometimes they are small, and sometimes they take over 5 minutes.  I was just wondering if this is happening for others, or if I need to do something to get it corrected?

I am running on Windows 8.

This was happening to me too, until I reinstalled Origin.  I haven't seen it happen since.

It happen to me, I had a problem installing a patch and i had to chat with the help for origin and he helped to unstall and restall origin and I hadn't had a update every five minutes when I start origin.

Thanks, guys.  I just uninstalled and reinstalled, so we'll see what happens after I reboot my machine.
