Strawberries
« on: May 23, 2015, 02:58:58 PM »
I'm desperate for a girl in my household other than the mother. I've got Pop music playing, like, everywhere. So... That leaves just one thing. Where can I get strawberries?

You can find strawberries growing around Magnolia Blossom Park; the Willow Creek commercial district; the Willow Creek neighborhoods of Pendula View, Courtyard Lane, and Foundry Cove; Sylvan Glade; and around the Oakenstead estate in Oasis Springs.  Also in Oasis Springs, the neighborhoods of Parched Prospect, Bedrock Strait, and so on.  They're literally everywhere.

Correction: Oakenstead estate in Willow Creek (thanks @Shewolf13)

Oakenstead is actually Willow Creek as well.  I'm not sure I've ever heard of any of those names, Oshizu.  Which version of the game do you have?  I'm curious to know if different language versions use different name translations.

@Shewolf13, I am playing the US version, lol, but I made the mistake of listing the names of the neighborhoods instead of the actual lots.
So Geniequeen122, my revised answer would be:

For strawberries, look:
Willow Creek: look around any of the lots (the commercial district, Magnolia Blossom Park, Sylvan Glade, and any of the four residential lots.
Oasis Springs: try the neighborhood where Johnny Zest lives.

lol ok.  Sorry, I hadn't heard the name of the neighborhoods, so I was confused and trying to figure out which lots those were.  Thanks for the clarification ^^

Thanks! I looked around, and I found the plants, but they weren't ready to harvest. But it was still a girl, Ambrosine. Thanks again though, next time I need a girl I'll definitely check back at those lots!

The strawberries won't grow when you're not on the lots, so it would be better if you prepared and got them before your Sim gets pregnant, and then planted them at home.  It will take a while for the plants to grow long enough to become harvestable, so you'd save a lot of time if you had a Sim with level 5+ gardening go take a cutting of them instead, and graft it on to a plant back home.

If you don't feel like looking for strawberries and you have Seasons, you can just get a Seasonal Spring Plants seed pack and keep purchasing some until you get strawberries.
