Moving Storage Items to new lot
« on: May 19, 2015, 04:41:44 PM »
I just purchased a new home and I have quite an extensive nectar collection at my old home. What happens when I move those nectar shelves? Do I need to move back and empty the shelves first, or will the shelves move with the nectar in them?

Is that going to be the same situation for my Insect storage and Alchemy cabinets?

I just don't want to move things and lose my entire collections as they account for a good portion of my assets. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
lordske

If i recall correctly, then you had the option to either "sell everything"-which means you get the money worth of all items you had there) and "pack everything down" - which means that all items (except garden plants) would be in the household inventory.

If you want to be sure to get the nectar along, i advice you to drag the racks over to the household inventory yourself. I dont think that the rack keeps the bottle in its own inventory though.

Hope it helped :)

I've found that if I drag a display cabinet into Household Inventory it will take all the items on that cabinet into household inventory. They will not be on the cabinet when you bring it back out, either at current home or at new home, but they will be in the inventory so you don't lose them. All you lose is whatever layout of items you had tehre - for example if you had all the varieties of cut Yellow Sapphire on one cabinet, all the Rubies on another. You'll have to sort them out again. I do this regularly because the things seem to get bugged after being used for a bit.
