My favorite part of the Sims 4 is definitely the expressions, I've been delighting in them so far!

Haha, yeah, it worked out. I felt like Celina couldn't be all sugar and sweetness in the competition

Before dawn broke, Arya had made an odd zombie like walk outside




She was abducted by aliens



Dazed, she stumbled back inside and went upstairs to continue sleeping



Miracle happened to be inside at the time, looking quite pleased with herself.
Sabotage? If so, it was virtually impossible to pin it on her.

Another letter had come this morning


Greetings Princesses,

Prince Dmitri will arrive tomorrow. He likes a stiff drink and a hearty meal, I expect you to brush up on your skills, I have left six bars in your living room to facilitate your practice.

And so the girls did. They all worked away in the morning, most gaining at least level two in the skill




Celina took the extra incentive to work from dawn to dusk



Sierra spent the afternoon watching cooking shows to improve her ability



At the end of the night they bonded over their excitement
Tomorrow was going to be the big day

Day ten



They greeted the Prince with heart shaped cookies and a beverage

The instructions from the Queen were very specific about rules

Greetings Princesses,

My son is coming over today, insure that your residence is sparkling clean and that you have food prepared. You will each have an opportunity to flirt with him in turn. After the flirting is done, you may continue to interact with my son until he leaves but you are all forbidden from taking the romance further than flirting.

Celina was the first, she used a pick up line that had him blushing





Arya was equally successful





Miracle was more timid in her approach but she still won a big smile from Dmitri





He was quite taken by Sierra's forwardness





He shut Rylie down, wasn't impressed by her attempts at wooing





And poor Jade had such a miserable attempt she could hardly look at him afterwards



They spent a relaxed afternoon, dancing, eating, chatting.



Jade even took the opportunity to apologize, and Dmitri had no hard feelings over it



At the end of the evening, Celina wished him a fond farewell with a peck to his hands

Day eleven

Greetings Princesses,

We have heard that one of you can play an instrument well, we ask that you all join us for a party with us tonight and the one that is talented will be welcomed to do a number at our piano.

The girls all had very little practice with playing the piano, so finally they had to discuss amongst themselves and come to a decision with who was best. Each girl both wanted to be the best and didn't want to be the best in equal measure, because while it was an opportunity to stand out, it was also possible that this wouldn't be a positive spot light.



When it boiled down to the honest truth, the majority of the princesses didn't have any musical skill to speak of, so after much talk it was determined that Celina was the only one who had been putting effort into her musical ability. So she sat down for the morning and practiced




Arya and Rylie put a bit of effort in being friendly with each other for the morning, even cracking a few jokes



Sierra worked on her wild dancing skills which were rather rusty




It wasn't long before it was time to leave



Celina sat down at the piano, took a deep breath, directed a nervous smile at the audience and did her best to play simple but classic songs



The girls showed their support by getting their groove on to it



The last few notes softly floated in the air, the sun was setting on the party.

 Celina had done it, she had survived the night




She looked up to see approval from the guests, and they were even polite enough to clap when she resumed




The Novak's thanked her, and even allowed her to dine with them, she felt weary from the work but satisfied with the evening, especially after getting to be up close and personal with Dmitri again!




After all the dishes had been polished of food, the party disbanded

Random event # 11

Celina had the highest level of skill so she didn't receive the penalty, but she also didn't receive the reward, she wasn't level 5 by the end of her practicing. All the same I had her perform at the party.

Day twelve

The queen had asked for a report on the abilities of the Princesses from her loyal private detective, he was able to email her the details of their successes.

The results came back remarkably positive, all the girls were at least somewhat skilled.

The data also came with a shocking piece of data, nearly all of the girls had little or no athletic ability, so with that knowledge the Queen sent her next letter

 Today I would press upon you the importance of staying healthy, I would ask that you all hit the gym for a few hours in order to improve yourself. My son will need a woman in both good spirits as well as good shape in order to manage our company in partnership. My limo will come at 1pm.

Miracle and Arya were a bit unsure when they first came in and spent a few minutes jamming







It didn't take them too long to get the hang of things and jump on machines



Some more reluctantly than others




Arya struggled with self motivation when it came to punching a bag, it wasn't as fun as slugging another person



She bounced back by switching to a machine, which felt more like a battle




On the other side of the gym, Sierra had an audience
"Slam it, focus your energy, make it bleed, MAKE IT BLEED"




"Quit being a pansy about it, teach that sack a lesson!"




"That's a girl, good job sunshine"
The man thoroughly tired Sierra out, but it sure felt good to have the support, even if it came with more criticisms than compliments"



They spent the afternoon sweating





They stopped by the park on their way home and had a tasty meal to celebrate their success at surviving exercise


+400 aspiration points due to having 6 points more than Rylie

Day thirteen

Dmitri was a curious young man, he knew his mother was keeping a strict eye on the princesses and yearned to have a better picture for himself



"What activity have you set to them today Mother?" He inquired




She smiled, and then brought up some images on the computer

"I let them work on their own self improvement today, you can see for yourself"



"Celina took the time to make the garden evolve"



"Jade was drawn to playing the piano, which is commendable as she is rather timid"



"Miracle chose to brush up on her logical tactics"




"Arya took on breakfast, as well as attempted the violin



"Sierra polished her Juice on the Rocks blend"



"And last but not least, Rylie perfected a right hook"




Satisfied with the news, he expressed his thanks and also remarked
"You should let them have a day of relaxation tomorrow, I admire their hard work and wish for them to be rewarded"
The Queen considered this, and finally gave a sharp nod. Tomorrow the girls would have a spa day.



There are a few events that slipped by the royal family, such as Celina's midnight trip to visit Miracle's relatives



Sierra's thrilling conversation with a lamp



Their weary dance at the end of a long day of work



At the end of the day they pulled together for a meal, and then all fell into bed

Day fourteen




The next morning the girls had a limo waiting outside and a note that only said 'Happy spa day' was left on the table. It was handwritten and wasn't the Queen's recognizable swirl, it had to be from the prince. The excitement from them all was felt. They got to the spa and they found it had many activites to offer, relaxing yoga, massages, saunas, mediation. They had their pick. Most of them decided to start off with some yoga.







They all felt focused and calmed from the activity




Rylie took a mediation class after, she had an odd partner for it, but the important thing was getting into the zone




Celina pampered herself with a massage




Jade was delighted to have an attractive young man rubbing her sore feet




And the others tried out the sauna

Over all they were pleased with the day out and came back to the house with energy and big smiles

500 points for Celina being in a good mood all day

Day fifteen



The morning started off with a bang



Quirky Sierra caught her beauty sleep on the near by bench



It had been a long time since the garden had been tended to so Celina got on it



Everyone else relaxed, discussed alien events



Jammed to some music



Even played a round of chess



They were invited to have some tea and biscuits with the queen that evening



The prince made a very brief appearance, he couldn't say no to biscuits




Now by this point Celina was dead tired, stumbling over her own feet




And continued to stumble, until she actually broke a plate




As she threw the shards away, she had a choice, face the music or pin this on someone else
When it came down to it, she knew if she was going to shine a light on the mistakes of the other girls then it was only right to own up to her own



So she went to go see the Queen...



And confessed



The Queen paused in thought and then....



SCREAMED BOO (side note, I really wish I had gotten a picture of her doing it, but it wasn't an interaction I controlled, made me really laugh)



Starling to say the least



And laughed and laughed at the look on Celina's face
Celina laughed nervously along with the Queen.
When she finally stopped laughing, she stated that was a sufficient payment

I am loving this story...I started my challenge last nite and was having fun, however, the house I chose for the princesses was WAY too big, and I'm gonna start over today and choose a different house.

@simfulicious, good luck with the restart, the house can definitely be important, I got really lucky when I plucked this one out of the gallery. @Joria thats fantastic! I'm glad I'm able to make it enjoyable, I think part of the problem with reality show type content is a lot of it can get repetitive. I've felt that in this challenge to a certain degree (especially with all the 'train this skill' days) but I've tried to keep it interesting. I think that would have to be one of my complaints about the challenge, I'd like to see less of those sorts of days and instead have more days where they are interacting with the royal family. Your welcome, I will continue doing so , it can be harder to do but I find being able to reach the audience on here more than worth the effort.

Day sixteen



The morning started with smiles and a full stomach, Celina was the first one to the kitchen, most of the other girls were battling over the bathrooms



So it just so happened that she was the only one around to notice a man lingering on the side walk in front of their house



There was something recognizable about him, he looked like he worked for the Novak family, Celina went out of her way to say hello



Turns out that was a good call, the gentleman was their butler and had a word of advice for Celina.

"I hear that the lot you once had a baking competition in has been modified to improve charisma, something important to the Queen. If I was you, I'd go down and make use of it"



When she got back inside she mulled that information over. She could share the tip or keep it to herself. Finally at supper time she decided to share it and the girls all went out to the location.







And so they all practiced until it got dark and the auto lights came on. It turns out this wasn't just a place for them to practice, it was also an exclusive dance club, it wasn't long before people poured in. Including the prince!





They all got into the mood to groove quickly



Miracle had a spot of bad luck, she got yelled at by an alien hater

"Your people knocked up my husband"

Miracle backed off from the lady quickly, feeling upset



It wasn't hard to tell that something was wrong, Celina was quick to offer reassurance



She encouraged her friend to get back into the enjoyable parts of the party and stick near them so they could protect her



The body guard of Dmitri asked that the Prince make a timely exit



The princesses followed suit. Everyones ears were ringing when they returned, but it was still a successful day

+ 1 kindness point for letting everyone know to practice charisma

Day seventeen


The morning started a little rocky, Celina had to gulp down medicine to fight off an illness. But today was an exciting day that demanded they all be in good form, the Queen and King would be arriving. Celina took extra care to ensure the garden looked it's best which turned out to be smart as the Queen Novak did ask about it



They started off the event with a good meal.

Celina had given mixed impressions to the queen previously, she had been kind enough to return stolen jewelry but had also been clumsy enough to break valuables. Celina wanted to change that mixed view and win the queen back, so she set out to do so in earnest



The other princesses also did their best to make an impression, all wore their best evening gowns to be a reminder of their status

Miracle almost ended up going in her space suit but the other girls suggested an earth dress might be more suitable and Miracle agreed, wearing a dress was more comfortable than having all that armour weight down on her.



The king mostly just got his groove on by himself for most of the evening




The night was a success, Celina made an excellent friend in the queen, sharing gossip, secrets and other tidbits until the Queen was relaxed and smiling, the royal couple left in good spirits

+ 200 points for becoming good friends with the queen

+ 300 for having at least two plants of very nice quality

Day eighteen



Celina woke up in a foul mood, bad dreams plagued her sleep.



To say she was surly was an understatement, even just hearing the others laugh and chat made her feel livid. She had a choice, interact with them and risk making enemies or avoid everyone. It was tempting to go pick a fight with someone, she wasn't especially fond of Arya and even some of her friends got on her nerves after living together for so long. But some how she knew she might regret it, so she stomped up starts and promptly ignored everyone.



The other girls took the opportunity to get to know each other better



They bonded over their all time favorite activity, dancing



Gossiped and discussed the prince in their pjs



Went for a refreshing dip in one of the tiniest pools that the girls had ever seen, Arya was the first to remember its presence



Miracle and Rylie chatted about space with the Stars shining above them



At the end of the day spent in silence Celina has simmered down enough and felt more human



Enough so she even felt okay enough to chat with the others. It hadn't been a productive day or even a good day, but she felt relieved that she had bit her tongue and kept her cool.

Random event #5

Day nineteen
 

Dear princesses,

First I would like to thank you all for blessing myself and my family with your company. Already I feel a lot has been added to my life from this unique experience. I would like a memento from each of you to remember this by, a painting. The limo will drive you to where the canvas' are set up.

And so the girls set off




None of them where particularly artistic or skilled at this craft so all of the girls took their time
 


They had to be thoughtful of what they knew of the prince, trying to think of what he would appreciate



By the end they were all satisfied with their work and one of the prince's men loaded the paintings in a van to be delivered to the prince



It had been partly a contest, there was a value issued to each painting, and this was the final scoring

Miracle seemed pretty keen on painting, she continued even after the contest was over
 

Arya was rather snide about that fact, making a point to say there was no one left from the royal place to impress
 

Miracle smiled and simply replied that unlike others she didn't do every action just as a show. Then turned to continue her work.

Flustered and annoyed Arya stomped off.


Celina also completed an extra flirty painting

Another day closer to knowing the results the girls all went home and tucked in

+ 300 for painting being worth more than other candidates + 200 for painting a flirty painting
