After I updated my game, I have no sound. I can hear regular net videos and sounds but not in game with the sims or any other I have in origin. I have repaired the game.

Possible Solution: Reinstall your sound card drivers. - Thank you, Sdhoey!! :)

I got it fixed, some how, when I updated, my Realtek drivers got deleted. I had to reinstall them. Thanks Carl

Origin has its own sound settings when you click the volume mixer in the bottom right on Windows. Could this be muted? I just tested and even if Sims 4 is NOT muted, should Origin be, the game audio won't work.

I wonder if launching Sims 4 from the desktop could produce a different result than launching in Origin.

Just glad you can hear the game again! Maybe someone else will learn from this one anyway, could always be drivers or something muted in the mixer.
