Chapter 57- Don't Look Behind You

Greetings all! In this chapter, we find Slate and Tasha working on bringing in the next member of the family.



Camera pans...oh thank goodness...Junior was having his adult birthday.





It was a good thing that Slate and Tasha were going to have multiple kids because it seems that Slate was going to need a lot of practice. He didn't get how that whole baby swing thing worked.



Baby #2 was confirmed to be on the way!



Early one morning before everyone had to run off to work, Azure had her toddler birthday.





Finally! Justine's genetics have been defeated!



Slate had a little time before work, so he started on Azure's toddler skills. First things first, potty time!



Next, teaching Azure how to walk to the potty.



Azure: Really, Mom? Must we talk about marriage while I'm sitting in a puddle of water?



Best way to get out of doing something? Going into labor.



Grandma took over while Tasha and Slate headed off to the hospital.



The newest family member was a little boy named Saffron.



With the terrible lighting in Azure's room, she looked like she could blend into the floor.



Azure, be careful. Why? You'll shoot your eye out, kid.



Here. This is much safer. And cuter.





Meanwhile, the family members were all working on their skills and lifetime wishes. Junior maxed the guitar skill, which was one half of his lifetime wish.



The next part was to master the charisma skill.





Tasha and Slate, with 2/5 children already in the world, were ready to work on nooboo #3.



They decided the bathroom, where Junior was working on his charisma skill, was the perfect place to bring in the next generation. Whatever you do, Junior, don't look behind you.



Junior: ...but I can see it in the mirror...

Chapter 58- Junior's Mystery Woman

Hello everyone! It's time for Third Time's the Charm! In this episode, we get to start off with the birthday of little Saffron. Junior brought him up to the cake.





Here is little Saffron. He looks just like his daddy.



Remember the little incident that Junior had in the bathroom in the last chapter? Well, it looks like Slate and Tasha were successful.



Saffron was quickly taught his toddler skills.







I apparently gave Junior a young again potion at some point, as he had his second adult birthday...







Junior went out with his "girlfriend" to celebrate his birthday.

Tasha: So, Junior, when do we get to meet this girlfriend of yours?
Junior: *puts arm around thin air* Here she is!
*Family gives blank stare*
Malley: *Whispers* Uh, she's glitched out so she's invisible, Junior...I don't think they believe she exists...



Junior: She's real, I swear!!!

Back at home, Saffron was being all kinds of adorable.



Attention was quickly transferred to Tasha, however, as she went into labor.



Off at the hospital, they ran into a familiar face: Persimmon!



Persimmon also panicked.



Soon, little Cerise was welcomed in to the family.



With a full household, there were birthdays and celebrations practically every day. Soon after Cerise's birth, it was time for Azure to age up into a child.









Here is Azure. I'm pretty sure I gave her the bookworm trait for this birthday.





Slate had a little time before he had to rush off to work, so he tutored Azure.



In the meantime, Azure's room got a bit of an upgrade.



When Slate had to run off to work, Azure made good use of her new furniture, specifically, her computer. Her supermax was going to be writing.

The invisible girlfriend part was hilarious!  I wondered how the "mystery woman" part was going to pay out and I was definitely not expecting that!

Chapter 59- The Mystery Revealed

We begin this chapter with yet another birthday! In a household full of people, there is always some sort of celebration going on. This morning was Cerise's toddler birthday.





Most appropriately, Cerise got eyes the color of her name!



With her hands literally in the potty, Tasha got started on Cerise's toddler skills.











And now for the big reveal...Junior's mystery woman is none other than...

Crystal!



Story progression had Junior and Crystal get together during prom a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, so I kept them together. With more room needed in the house for additional nooboos, Junior was making the moves on his lady friend.



Soon after, it was time for another birthday. This time, Saffron would be aging up into a child.









Here is child Saffron. He looks a lot like Slate.



I believe he gained the Family Oriented Trait this time around.



Azure was happy to have Saffron become a child, as she now had someone to play with.



There would be no shortage of playmates in the house, given Tasha's lifetime wish and all, but, in order to bring in more nooboos, someone needed to get the boot. That person was Junior.





He proposed to Crystal on the beach, right in front of the outhouses. How romantic.





They got married right then and there.







Junior moved out to be with Crystal, which opened up some space in the house...

Chapter 60- Biology Lesson

Greetings all! It's time for chapter 60 of Third Time's the Charm. In the last chapter, there were birthdays. In this chapter, there will be even more birthdays! But, before that, let's catch up with the family.

Following his child birthday, Saffron was tutored by Slate.



After his lessons with Saffron, Slate moved on to a "biology lesson" with Tasha *wink, wink*



Azure: So how did your lesson with Dad go?
Saffron: It was okay. This is more fun. But Dad seemed really into biology, though.



Apparently, Slate and Tasha were very successful in their studying session.





*Fast forwarding...* Yay! Nooboo time!



By this point, Slate and Tasha were old pros at this whole baby thing. See? Not a single flicker of panic on the faces of the parents. That's monumental in the sims.



The newest addition to the family was Mauve. His traits were Clumsy and Artistic.



In even bigger news, Tasha's father completed his lifetime wish. That was great because Azure needed a tombstone for her requirements!



Azure's teen birthday was the first of many birthdays in the family.











Here is teen Azure.



She gained the Perfectionist trait.



After cake and a new wardrobe, it was time for another lesson from Slate. Thankfully, it was on another topic other than science.



Once that was over, Azure did what she did best: writing stories.



The next morning, it was time for yet another birthday!





Cerise performed some amazing contortions in order to become a child.





Here is child Cerise.



She gained the Loner trait on this birthday.



Whew! That was a lot of birthdays and celebrations. I think I need a break...see you next chapter

Another lovely update.  The biology lessons was a clever usage, but then having the kids chatting about it in the sandbox was an excellent and unexpected twist  ;=)
Azure's expression on the close-up teen shot was priceless!  She just has this smug look like, "Yeah, I know I'm awesome."

Azure also aged up into relatively decent hair and clothes. Wish my game would do that lol
