Chapter 53- Going Platinum

Hey! Welcome back to a very long overdue update of Third Time's the Charm!

Izzy: Way to go, Watcher! We thought you forgot about us!
Malley: In my defense, my internet broke
Slate: Yeah, nice excuse, Watcher.
Malley: No, seriously, my router broke. We were without internet for quite a few days. It was like living in the stone age...I never want to do this again.

So, on with the story!

Crystal was studying like a good little student while her parents decided to "clean" up the shower...together.

Crystal: Just keep studying...just keep studying...



Great, now the bathroom needs to be cleaned again...



With the whole bathroom now minty fresh, Izzy found out that there was to be another Matsuri joining the household before the end of this chapter.



Slate continued working on his athletic skill when he had no school or homework. Crystal rolled a wish to start working out, so she kept her brother company.



The two little athletes took a break to attend prom. Again, extreme awkwardness ensued when brother and sister were named Prom King and Queen.





Nothing exciting happened until Izzy went into labor.



It was off to the hospital...



...which was where little Platinum joined the family!



Fast forward a few days...and it was time for Platinum's birthday!





The terrible lighting in the picture above made it look like he had puke green hair, but, once his curls came in, it was nice to see he was a little blondie!



I rolled traits for Platinum. What did he get? Not a clue. I have to find my notes. In the meantime, here is some nooboo cuteness.











While Platinum was just being all kinds of cute, Slate and Crystal continued working on their skills. Slate ended up starting to work on his logic skill when he was fatigued or there wasn't enough time to get in a good workout.

Chapter 54- Party Time!

Who's ready for some birthdays? I know I am! First up is our heir, Slate.



Izzy has taken a liking to her formal wear, hence why she's wearing it in this picture...







Clayton decided that the best way to celebrate his daughter's birthday was by making her ears bleed with a party blower thing.





Thankfully, she aged up fine.



Here is young adult Slate.



His final traits were Athletic, Brave, Disciplined, Family Oriented and Workaholic. Slate's lifetime wish was Perfect Mind, Perfect Body.



Here is young adult Crystal. She turned out quite lovely.



Her final traits were: Good, Genius, Bookworm, Ambitious and Hates the Outdoors. Crystal's lifetime wish was to become a World Renowned Surgeon.



And let's make it a hat trick of birthdays, shall we?







Here is Platinum.



His traits were Excitable, Virtuoso and Easily Impressed.



In addition to working on his athletic skill, Slate also began working on his martial arts skill, since they kind of go hand in hand.



Black belt, he is not.



While Slate embarrassed himself practiced, Izzy worked with Platinum on his school work.



He, like his mother, was very artistic.



Despite the numerous bumps and bruises, Slate powered through and actually began to look pretty good at Sim Fu.



But it was time to hang up his belt and uniform and hang out with his lovely lady friend.



As it turns out, Tasha aged up not long before Slate did so, now that they were both young adults, they were able to take their relationship to the next level.







Congrats, Slate! Let's end the chapter here to let the happy couple celebrate. See everyone in the next chapter!

Wow, I've really missed out quite a lot. Congrats on all the birthdays and the absolutely gorgeous simmies! Slate's got the most amazing eyes! And, Crystal actually aged up into a (sort of) acceptable outfit and hair and not the cruddy unique outfits that EA comes up with.

Crystal did actually age up in a decent outfit! She's just awesome like that

Chapter 55- What a Gem!

Greetings! It is time for chapter 55 of the Matsuri Greenwood DecaDynasty. In the last chapter, Slate and Crystal reached young adulthood, so it was time for the two of them (specifically Slate) to work toward achieving their requirements/lifetime wishes. With Slate's increase in the martial arts skill, he was able to break space rock blocks and get gems. Izzy, being the artsy type, wanted to make those gems into fancy, valuable pieces.





Crystal, meanwhile, rolled a wish to learn the martial arts skill. So, I let her do it. As a martial artist myself, I do not recommend practicing in heels and/or a dress.



Slate became a police officer and got an opportunity to meet up with some of his neighbors in Isla Paradiso.



By neighbors, I mean relatives. Here is Rei.



And Olivine.



Later that night, Platinum became a teen.









A pudding face, but a good looking kid nonetheless.



I was rolling traits for Platinum and he ended up getting a lot of artsy traits, which was fitting stating that his mother was Izzy.



While Platinum was artsy, Slate was logical. He maxed the logic skill and completed his lifetime wish in one fell swoop.



Despite having already maxed the athletic skill, Crystal decided that Slate needed to be trained...



In between all the skilling and promotions, time flew by. Platinum was ready to become a young adult.







Platinum's traits were Artistic, Virtuoso, Easily Impressed, Excitable and something else (apparently I only wrote down four traits on my notes...). His lifetime wish was Golden Fingers, Golden Tongue.





Moments later, Slate seemed stunned that it was time for his adult birthday.





It was a good thing, though, because it was one of the last things Slate needed to complete his requirements.

I think that was Clayton's father's hair. I don't have any pictures of him because he died before Izzy moved in/got with Clayton, but I think that's where that unfortunate hairstyle comes from

Chapter 56- The Final Heir

This chapter is a very momentous one. We will be meeting the final heir in this chapter! *Confetti* Yay! But first, we need to have a wedding!

Slate called up Tasha and they got married on the beach.







Here is the lovely Miss Tasha. Her traits are Great Kisser, Dramatic, Family Oriented, Good and Hopeless Romantic.



And what is her lifetime wish? Surrounded by Family...oh dear...



First order of business for the happy couple was to work on bringing in the final heir. A difficult task, for sure 



Let's give them some alone time...



The house got a bit of a makeover because it was pretty gnarly, and not in a good way. Anyhoo, let's meet the rest of the family. This blond lady is Tasha's mom. Her name is Victoria.



And the man with absolutely no sense of style (he must have decorated the house too) is Tasha's father, Deshawn.



Finally, we have Tasha's younger brother, Junior.



Apparently, Tasha decided to introduce you lovely readers to the toilet...yuck.



*Camera pans* Oh, thank goodness. It seems that the first day in the household was Deshawn's birthday.





Amazingly, he gained a better sense of style as an old guy.



*Camera pans...again* It was also Victoria's elder birthday too. Well, that worked out well.







With Tasha not having a career oriented lifetime wish, I was going to let her learn whatever skills she wanted to.

Tasha: I want to garden!
Malley: Wish granted, dear.



It wasn't only the garden that was growing!



Slate, the ever dutiful hubby, would autonomously give his wifey back rubs. Don't wear out your hands, Slate, you've got four more kids to pop out, so that means a ton more back rubs.





While tending to her garden, Tasha went into labor.

Tasha: I thought nature was supposed to be calming!
Malley: Well, no one is outside panicking, so, yeah, it seems to be working.



Anyway, it was off to the hospital to bring in the final heir to the dynasty!



And why yes, that is Citrine coming to visit her great-great-great-great niece.



Everyone, please welcome the final heir to the Matsuri-Greenwood DecaDynasty, Miss Azure Matsuri-Velazquez!

The theme for this household, by the way, is rainbow, so the surrounded by family wish should be a pretty colorful one
