Good Sense of Humor is a great trait. I like the way they walk around laughing at their own amusing thoughts.

Jett was certainly fun to watch when he would just randomly start chuckling at his own jokes or thoughts. It was good for a laugh for me too.

No issues finding a spouse for that one. 

Jett's just a cutie, I guess!

Maybe one day we'll discover the mystery of the name of Jose's father. 

I'm going to look it up before we leave this household in the story, I promise

I think his name is Padre.

I'm good with that!

You have to love the irony of that lol we've been calling him Jose's father when all along his name WAS father lol albeit in a different language :-D

I made that up having recently returned from Mexico.

Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to start calling him until I actually go back into the file and check the family tree.

Even though they were a surprise, I really loved having Jett and Ebony. I think Ebony was one of my favorite spares of this dynasty.

Chapter 41- Whoops!

Hello again everyone! It's been a while since the last update of Third Time's the Charm! I blame National Novel Writing Month. Anywho, since this update has been a long time coming, let's just jump right into, shall we?

First up, we have Jett and Ebony celebrating their teen birthdays.













Once the sparkles dissipated, it was off to the dressers with the twins. Jett went first.



He gained the Charismatic trait.



Here is Ebony.



I was still rolling traits for spares, so Ebony wound up with the Proper trait. Could be worse.



Emi worked with Jett to get on the honor roll.



Ebony, on the other hand, was tutored by the aptly named "padre." I'm going to find his name, I swear



After the tutoring, Jett went off to begin working on his charisma. By charisma, I mean his horrible pick up lines.

Jett: Hey, girl, I lost my number, can I have yours?
Malley: *face palm*



Jett: Hey, girl, did it hurt when you feel from heaven?
Malley: *groans, then face palms*
Jett: Go away, Watcher!!!!!!



...I'm stunned...apparently, those worked...



This is one of the girls from the previous chapters. You know, the one with a house. This is Nicolle. Apparently, she fell for Jett's terrible pick up lines.





So, one of the kids was feeling snippy one day and decided to booby trap the computer.



Poor Eminence didn't stand a chance...



Amazingly enough, I'm pretty sure that it was Ebony that planted that trap. Go figure that the proper girl is the one with the great pranks. *Shrugs* Ah, well, moving on. It was prom time. Ebony and Jett went together, but not together together, obviously. Jett went with Nicolle but, in sims tradition, Jett and Ebony were named Prom King and Queen respectively.



*Cue awkward prom photo*



Padre: Watcher! I am tired of you ignoring me and not even giving me the courtesy of learning my name.
Malley: I'm sorry, were you saying something?
Padre: Fine, I have a way to get your attention!
*Proceeds to die*
Malley: Aw snizzity snap!





So, Padre decided to up and die on me before I could go back into the game file and look up his name in the family tree. Whoops! Oh well, too late now  Maybe I can learn Jose's brother's name before he kicks the bucket?

Ha ha! I found his name! Padre is actually "Reginald" and Jose's brother is "Lamar." Yay!

Once I saw that Padre died in the last chapter, I made sure to pull up the game that night and research the Matsuri family tree. I didn't want to seem *that* heartless!

Well, I am back. Not sure if you've already read my update on the Sakura's, but if not, here it is: My November was spent working on NaNoWriMo, at least until the last week. I got a call to come in for an interview for a place that I applied for a position. I went in the next week, interviewed, two days later, I got the job and then that Monday, I started at the company. Needless to say, things have been busy, but a good kind of busy  So, here is the long overdue update for the Matsuri's.


Chapter 42- Return of the Matsuri's

Greetings everyone! I have returned with another fabulous update for Third Time's the Charm! So, let's jump right into things because this update has been long, long overdue.

To start things off, Lamar (look, I remembered!!) completed his lifetime wish! *Cue victory music*



Next, Emi broke the sink and then tried to fix it by becoming one with the sink. I blame Goldenrod for that gene 



Jett, with his intended supermax of charisma, went off in his jammies and bunny slippers to greet the populace of Isla Paradiso. Ready for a slew of returning Matsuri family members? Me too!



Bree and Cobalt got to spend some quality time with their grandson.



Who's that Matsuri? It's Palmira!





Yep, back to the bunny slippers when meeting with Great Aunty Jade.



So, the teenage years of the Mr. Bunny Slippers came to an end and it was time for Jett and Ebony to enter into the realm of adulthood.







Jett seemed pretty pleased with his grown up bod.



It was then little sister's turn.







Here is grown up Jett.



Jett's final trait was Virtuoso and his lifetime wish was to achieve Golden Fingers, Golden Tongue.



Here is Ebony.



Similar to Jett, her final trait was Natural Born Performer. As a lifetime wish, Ebony was destined to become a Master Acrobat.



Jett was not off to a good start with the whole guitar playing thing...



There we go. Much better. I didn't realize that a guitar needed a "this side up" warning label.



Ebony, meanwhile, was faring much better with her skilling and career.



In the next chapter, Jett Suave returns to woo his lady friend  Stay tuned!
