Differences in displays
« on: April 21, 2015, 10:51:20 PM »
When I drag certain collectibles from my sims inventory onto a surface (such as a metal) some of them are automatically placed on a wooden display with a plaque while others remain just as they were.  I tried to keep track of the value level of the items to see if maybe it was only rare items that do this but it seems to be random.  Is there something I'm just overlooking or an interaction I'm missing?

I don't remember ever seeing these go on wooden displays.  Maybe it's something new.

The only collectibles I've seen with a stand and plaque are the geodes, from Get to Work.  My other collection items, when placed on the ground or a table, look as they do in the inventory.

I think it depends on the table/display case you are using.  Any of the GTW objects I believe display smaller items on a pedestal/stand thing.  I've only played around with it a bit, but that seems to be the case for me anyway.
