On a side note, does anyone knows how to turn off "debug"?  I tried bb.hidehiddenobjects and bb.showhiddenobjects off -- both didn't work.
I think reloading the save turns it off.  Traveling may also.

I have to reload the save game to turn it off.

Just wanted to give players a heads up, once you turn debug on to buy the satellite dish, if you don't reload to turn it off, you might accidentally buy a debug item and disqualified yourself.  Be careful.

Hmmm, how about Noncommital? The trait forces a tense moodlet whenever a Sim is stuck in the same job or in a committed romantic relationship for three days or longer. If ever there was a nasty trait, it would be that one.
I play The Sims 4 for fun, so I don't care if I never end up being interviewed for the Dynasty Hall of Fame; people who play for keeps burn out too easily and don't enjoy playing the games, so I am going to not sweat the details.

"A new Aspiration can only be changed if a household member's original Aspiration is completed. No temporary switching."

Does this mean that temporary switching is allowed once the original aspiration is completed? Or does this mean that each aspiration has to be completed before a new one is chosen?

Thank you.

Let me think about this a bit and come up with the proper wording to make it clear.

  • Create one Young Adult Sim with traits - Lazy, Clumsy, and Insane. Aspiration = Bodybuilder.
  • A new Aspiration can only be changed if a household member's original Aspiration is completed. No temporary switching. After original Aspirations are completed there are no restrictions.
  • Household size cannot exceed four Sims, and once you move in a Sim they have to stay for the duration of the challenge and cannot be replaced.

Okay, I clarified several things - added the Insane trait, stated that after original Aspirations were completed there were no restrictions on switching around, and made it clear that once you move someone in, that's it - they stay.

-----------

One more thing came up that I forgot to clarify, so I got on that:

  • All skills scored must be unique and must be adult skills - i.e. there can be overlap between skills of Sims, but you can only score duplicate maxed skills once.

Good thing you caught that, Metro, or else people would artificially inflate their scores by having the Sim adopt a kid. ;)

Hehe I did not actually. It was due to a couple players PMing the team. I am really glad players are getting in the habit of doing that.

I did not see a PM from you EtnaFan666, unless you send a private PM to Metropolis Man.

Ok, so after doing a power session today, taking a break by going to see the Avengers, I came back and knocked this challenge out.

Riley Carr managed to cap a full 14 skills.  He had 3 other skills, but none of them made it to level 6-9, and he was the only one in his household the entire time so his score is:

14 skills * 1000= 14000
His Multiplier is 1 so the score is 14000

I had a good time with this one and I will enjoy my first time in the top spot, though I doubt I will remain there for long lol.  I'm happy with my score, overall.  Good luck everyone!

Oscar Dollar is retired from Skillin he says. Now back to packing boxes and throwing out junk.

Maxed Skills = 6 X 1,000 = 6,000 points.
6 - 9 = 2 X 50 = 100 points.
HM = 1.00 (1 household member).

Total = (6,000 + 100) X 1.00 = 6100

Just checking...

...if you move someone in and they already have a skill maxed, it doesn't count right? But if they max it while they are under your control it counts (even if they had some levels in it before you asked them to move in).

I have never seen a townie or NPC with maxed skill.  Only gallery addition have sims with maxed skill, and that is not allowed .. but I don't see it written down in the rules.  Team thoughts?
