Absolutely. Just remember that you can only score one Gold Medal date per Lovebird.

In case anyone is curious what the team was discussing with ClayMask it is this...

Lovebirds — Press R (Relationship Panel) at the end of the challenge and then filter your list by Pressing the Romantic tab. Count how many individual Sims are Lovebirds and give yourself 1 point for qualifying Sims.

The confusion was how to score other statuses that were tagged with a certain Sim - i.e. Soulmate, Sweetheart, etc. So, we need to figure things out quickly and keep things as simple as possible, so when the time comes to calculate your score you will be accurate.

Okay, hopefully this is all cleared up. I added an additional sentence to the end of the following. It's in bold...

And all these relationships -lovebirds and higher - can we still count them if they have died and become ghosts?

Life state does not matter, they can be ghost, alien, or human.  As long as when you open the relationship tab and that person is lovebird or better.

Ok, Tony Stark ended up with 20 lovebirds (mixture of lovebirds, soulmates, sweethearts, etc) and he had a Gold Medal Date with all of them.

So his score is as follows:

20 LB
GMD = 20*.05= 1+1
20*2= 40

Saw the new Avengers movie yesterday and Pepper did not make a single appearance. I guess it would be more appropriate for her to be in Iron Man movies and not Avenger movies. Great flick though - I highly recommend it.
