Those problems with the detective career -  Do you think it is just a glitch or a more permanent thing?
Good for Sherlock/Han to make such a quick decision. Can anyone else still have a stab at this career?

How many days of Policeman did you play? I noticed when I played it, I had 2 "training" days, that prevented me from fulfilling my requirement due to starting at level 3 of the career.  After I got done with those I was free to do what I wanted.  I also had a day or 2 where it did actually bug out and the Sim I arrested didn't travel back to the station with me.

Ah, poor Sherlock. I love Han Solo so glad he went for a name change and my favourite career choice. Here's hoping he gets many promotions! Welcome to Neil also.

@Tixxis
Hopefully it's just a glitch.  There are many complains on the official EA forums and bug reporting thread, EA will fix it, just don't know when.  Since I can't get ahead in the career, I didn't want to waste anymore time on it, plenty of other careers left to choose.  If EA fix this career, yes my future heir can still have a stab at this, although I will probably finish this dynasty before EA fixes this problem.

@dethdukk
I started at level 4 detective -- "Connections" reward, played 2 working days on detective.  The 2 days are the training days - if I can't finish the training days, I can't proceed to do what I want.  That is the problem.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clear cache repair etc etc, all no good.  The interrogation table just won't work for me.  Maybe if I wait it out for a few more work days the table will fix itself?  I highly doubt it, and I am too impatient to wait around, so I switched career.

I also read on the forum that the Doctor career have lots of problems too.  I was originally planning on using that, not anymore now.  Scientist career seems fine.

DAY 135  (Han)

Mama made me some potions to help out with my fitness skilling.  Energized potion and Snaggle Fluster.

Oh, what is wrong with my bladder.  Hold it, suck it in, I need to make it to the bathroom.  That Snaggle drink .....

I heard the sound of running water and burst, peed myself.  EMBARRASSED.  Did anyone see me?

DAY 137  (Han)

Hello there red hair.  Neil is a little bit skinny, but some good weight lifting session when he's older should solve the problem.

Janet turns elder today and didn't want to share her cake with me.  Evil.

DAY 139  (Margarita)

Ready to do some cooking.  15 Potion of Youth - checked.  15 deathflowers - checked.  15 angelfish - checked.

My special ingredient for the savior spell is Ambrosia.

I cooked 15 Ambrosia and picked the 10 most valuable ones for the spell.

The highest value one is worth $18,093 - crazy expensive.

DAY 142  (Margarita)

Han wanted to throw me a birthday party, but I sneak up in the middle of the night to blow the candles and eat my ambrosia.  Sorry Han, I don't want to wait for the party.

Congratulations on your fourth immortal. Halfway done already – wow.  ;D  Also, I had no idea Ambrosia could be worth so much, makes sense though considering how much work you have to put in just to make one.

Marketable reward trait works wonder.  Stove and grills master + perfectionist helps too, but marketable is the main one.

Wow, I'm going the same route as you with my cook so I'm going to be pleased with the ambrosia value. Congratulations on another immortal, Nutella  ;D

Well Zoey has already completed all the Culinary parts of the cooking side. But I'll remember that for the Mixology one and future Dynasty

DAY 149  (Han)

Janet fainted before she could finish cooking dinner.  I rushed over there to clean up the half cooked meal, Grim is trying his hardest to burn down our house.

Grim asked me why I am not crying, my answer was simple, I'm a guy.  Guys don't cry.

DAY 150  (Han)

Threw Neil a huge birthday party, wanted to invite plenty of girls to the party, but sadly the only girls I know are all elders.  Too old for Neil.

DAY 151  (Margarita)

Every girl in the neighborhood wanted to chat with me about my grandson.  "The Bachelor" TV show producer even approached me asking if Neil could be on the show when he turns young adult.

DAY 162  (Han)

I received a retro rocketship as reward for reaching the top of my career, I don't want that.  I was hoping my boss will give me a DL-44 heavy blaster pistol, sigh.
