How to set store backroom off-limits?

I have  basically built my sims house in the backroom of my store, but customers keep going in back using the computer, bathroom and other stuff. Is there any way to lock a door or somehow set those rooms as off-limits to customers?

When my store is open, I go into build mode and remove the door to my backroom.

i just wish we have locking feature implemented soon. This would make our lives easier.

I haven't tried it but what about the bookcase doors you get from either the secret agent career (level 7), the author career (level 10) or the scientist career (level 6)?

Admittedly unless you do the career or cheat it's not much help but would that resolve the issue?

Visitors can still go through those.  I found that out a while back.

Thanks for the door tip Nutella, for lack of a better alternative I'm using that now. (agree with dodi that I'd like a locking feature to be implemented asap)

Heh, the door locking should have been a must with this expansion. I just put some furniture and appliances for sale, which I can use after the shop is closed. Saves a lot of hassle.

I use Move Objects On and put something from my sims inventory in front of the door, like one of the camping chairs.

There's now a mod that lets you lock/unlock doors. Sadly you can't include employees in the filter right now, but it's better than nothing.

Being able to lock doors and male/female only doors are needed i think.
