Aha!  Knew it!!  Glad they are all happy about it.  Love that nursery btw.  Those little cushions on the floor really make it.

I agree with Joria, the cushions add just the right accent. But it strikes me as funny too. :D They remind me sooo much of pin cushions. I am imagining pins and needles with thread.... :P

Kayla's POV

"What a nice view!"

I looked between my legs and saw an upside down Adam standing and staring.

"Ha ha, very funny."

"What? Can't a guy check out his wife's butt every once in a while?" He grinned.

I rolled my eyes.

"Has Aria completed her homework?" I asked.

"Just now, she's watching TV."

"Okay, only an hour okay? It's a school night."

"Gotcha!" He said walking out of the room.

Yes, my baby girl grew up to be a child. She grew up so fast, I just hoped it would slow down from here.

I finished up my yoga and went upstairs.

"Aria! Time for bed!"

"Okay!"

She ran into the hallway and gave Adam a hug and a kiss before coming over to me.

"Goodnight my sweet girl." I said hugging her.

"Night mama!"

I walked into the living room and sat down next to Rylie. I decided to confront her on something.

"So, when did you find out?" I asked.

"Find out what?" She asked.

I looked at her, and she knew that I knew.

"A month ago, we wanted to make sure everything was okay before making the announcement."

"Congratulations!"

I gave her a hug.

"Thank you!"

"You'll be an excellent mother, it's challenging but worth it."

She smiled.

...

"No! That's not right!" Aria growled.

"Do you need some help?" I asked looking over at Aria.

"No, I got it. I have to get this right or else Timmy is going to rub it in my face."

"Is someone picking on you at school?"

"No, I just have to be the best. I have to pass this test with a perfect score."

"Honey, you don't have to be the best. You're only a kid, no one expects the best from you." I told her.

...

"Are you sure we should do this?" Adam asked.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Will this hurt the baby?" Rylie asked.

"I already asked, it is completely safe for you." Amber said.

Amber brought home some kind of drink that's suppose to bring you back to the beginning of being a young adult. We were all kind of nervous about it, but it was worth a try in my opinion.

"Okay, let's do it I guess." Bentley said.

"I agree, more time for our children." Rylie smiled.

"Here goes nothing." I said.

It worked! We were back to the beginning of young adulthood!! To celebrate we decorated Aria's room in the basement, I wasn't too thrilled of her being so far away from our bedroom but there was no more room upstairs.

I laid down that night and turned so that my head was resting on Adam's chest.

"So, when are we having another baby?" He asked.

"Whoa, slow down there tiger." I laughed.

He smiled and gave me a kiss goodnight.

Happy 16th Anniversary to The Sims! =D
And Happy Birthday Aria! It's a small update but there will be more coming your way later today/tonight! =]

Rylie's POV

"What are you doing?" Kayla asked walking in the side yard.

"I hope you don't mind, I had some money saved up and I have all this energy. I've always wanted to start a garden. I know what you're thinking: "The girl who dresses like she's in some rock band wants to garden?" It's crazy I know, but fresh vegetables and fruits will be nice you know? Also I planted some flowers. But don't worry I hired someone to keep up with it!"

"Whoa, breathe Rylie. Of course it's okay you did this, it's your house too! And I wasn't questioning why you want to garden, it's a relaxing thing! I also know the feeling of having all this built up energy and needing to get it out."

"How did you handle yours?"

"You probably don't want to know that answer..." She said her cheeks turning pink.

I busted out laughing.

"Look at your belly!" Amber said as she came to help us plant things.

"I know! I was big from the beginning, I'm starting to get scared there's triplets in there." I laughed.

"I was too, but there was only one baby." Kayla said.

"Great, that means if I have kids I'll be the one with triplets." Amber said.

"Have you thought about kids?" I asked.

"I don't know, I think I just want to be that cool aunt." She shrugged.

I nodded, "And you will be!"

...

"Hello future football player." Bentley said.

"You think it's a boy?" I asked.

"With how hard the baby has been kicking my guess is a boy."

"Girls can kick that hard!"

"I don't know..."

"Wanna test that theory?!"

He ran away.

"Thought so!" I yelled laughing.

...

"Hello my little niece!" Amber cooed.

"So Bentley thinks it's a boy and you think it's a girl." I giggled.

"You're going to have one confused kid." Kayla said from the chair.

"Right?!"

The bigger I got the more I wished this child would come into the world. Weeks went by and I got bigger and bigger, I was waiting for the day when my stomach would just explode. Bentley claimed I wasn't as big as I thought I was but I knew he was just saying that because he had too.

Kayla's been worried about Aria, she seems to think she's being bullied at school with how she's been reacting to having perfect grades. We all became worried once she came home in tears because this kid Timmy laughed at her for getting a B on a spelling test. I told Kayla and Adam that they should bring this to the principal's attention. She seemed okay at home though, which was a good sign.

"You are so beautiful."

"Right back at ya!" I smiled.

"I cannot wait to meet our little one."

"You're tellin' me, I cannot wait for him or her to come out." I said.

"OW!" I hissed.

"WHAT?!"

"My back, Kayla wasn't joking."

"Here, turn around."

...

It was getting closer to my due date. My doctor recommended that I do my research about whether or not I wanted to have my baby at the hospital. After hours on the computer I felt safer being at the hospital in case something were to happen. I got up off the chair and walked downstairs, I turned on the popcorn machine and grabbed the remote. I went to turn the TV on when a sharp pain came, I hissed and grabbed onto the chair.

"Ow, ow!"

I walked around the chair and sat down hoping that it'd help. They stopped after a few minutes so I figured they were just practice contractions. So I went on and ate popcorn and watched movies. I kept having little pains but brushed it off as nothing.

"OW!"

Bentley dodged down the stairs.

"RYLIE?!"

He ran in the room out of breath.

"I heard you scream, what's wrong?!"

"Get Kayla!" I hissed.

...

"NO! I want to have the baby at the hospital!" I cried.

"There isn't time to do that!" Kayla said.

"Bentley please!"

I cried out in pain and grabbed my stomach.

"This baby isn't going to wait." Kayla said closing the door to my room.

"Oh god no!"

"Everything will be fine, just breathe."

...

"He's perfect." I whispered.

"He is, every little toe and every little finger is just perfect." Bentley agreed.

"He's going to need to be fed soon, will you go get the bottle ready?"

"Of course."

I looked down at my baby boy.

"Welcome to the world, Lincoln."

It was down with the old and up with the new, the nursery now belonged to my little boy for now.

Welcome Lincoln! =D

So Rylie is still pregnant and all my hard work with the garden is gone! I'll try to get an update out if I get caught up!

So, Ally, I'm curious. Your avatar has blue hair. Rylie has blue hair. Are we supposed to be reading a bit of the author's personality into her character, or just that you like the color blue? :D

Blue is my favorite color! =P
I picked blue for Rylie's hair because it just seemed to fit better!

"ARIA! NO!"

SCREEEECCCHHHHH!

I covered my mouth.

CRASH!

"NO!" I cried.

Four Hours Earlier...

"How are things going?" I asked Rylie as I walked into the nursery.

"Good."

I smiled down at Lincoln who was being fussy.

"It's okay baby." Rylie cooed.

"Let me know if you need anything, I'm going to go get dinner started."

"Thanks."

I walked downstairs and there was a knock on the door. I opened it preparing to greet whoever it was but there was no one there. I went to close the door when I found a blue envelope taped to the door. I carefully took it off and closed the door, I walked into the kitchen and sat down to read this mysterious envelope addressed to me.

Kayla,

My name is Ashley. I work with your husband, Adam.
I really do not know how to tell you this, but I feel like I would want to know if it were me.

Last week Adam kissed me, and I knew he meant it in a romantic way. I told him it wasn't right but he kept hitting on me. He told me that there was problems at home and that he didn't know if he could handle it anymore. Believe me when I tell you that I told him that I wasn't going to be the reason his marriage fell apart. I'm so sorry, I didn't know what else to do.

Ashley Smith

I covered my mouth as tears filled my eyes. Problems at home? I thought things were going perfectly! My mind flashed to Aria, I let a sob escape from my mouth. Her world was about to be rocked.

"Kayla?"

I looked up to see Amber standing in the doorway, she took one look at me and rushed over.

"What's wrong?"

"He cheated! He cheated on me!" I cried.

I handed her the letter to read while I cried into my hands.

"Oh Kayla..."

She hugged me and I sobbed loudly into her shoulder.

...

Adam was home. He had been home for twenty minutes but I was trying to find the courage to walk in the living room. I wiped my eyes and took a deep breath. I had to confront him, if not for me but for our daughter. I walked passed the couch where he sat and turned around.

"Hey baby." He said smiling.

I looked at him with such hate.

"Everything okay?"

"No."

I looked at the letter in my hand and shook my head.

"I TRUSTED YOU!" I screamed tossing the letter at him.

He looked shocked, like a deer in head lights.

"I GAVE YOU EVERYTHING! I TOLD MY PARENTS TO LET YOU LIVE IN OUR HOME! HOW COULD YOU?!"

"Kayla..." He said as he read the letter that his little friend from work wrote.

"I cannot believe you. I cannot believe you would not only do this to me, but to your daughter!"

"Please, sit down and I'll explain."

I glared at him but sat down anyway.

"I don't want an explanation. She already told me what I needed to know!" I screamed.

"Bab-"

"DON'T!"

"Kay-"

"ADAM! DON'T!"

"Mom?"

I whipped around to see Aria looking terrified.

"Honey, go upstairs and start on your homework, I'll be up in a minute to help."

She looked scared, and sad, but she turned around and went upstairs.

"I married you, I gave you a child, and this is how you decide to end things?!" I yelled, but quietly.

"Kayla! Please just listen to me!"

"I don't want too, not right now."

"I'm going upstairs now, to help our daughter with her homework. I'll decide later if I want to ever see you again."

I got up and walked away.

...

I stood outside and silently cried. I would be lying if I said that a small part of me hoped that this was a joke. I couldn't deny that I loved him, I loved him with all my heart. If this was true and he did cheat on me... I didn't want to think about it. I wiped more tears away. I don't think I'd have the strength to kick him out. It wouldn't be fair to Aria to lose her father, and I wasn't ready to lose my husband. However, he would have to work very hard to even come close to earning my trust again.

"Mommy?"

I turned around so she couldn't see my face and wiped away my tears quickly.

"Yes baby?"

She walked over to me.

"The school bus will be here soon but I have a question."

"About your homework?"

"No..."

"Baby, what is it?"

"There's this girl in my class. Her name is Angie and her mommy yelled at her daddy too... They aren't together anymore, is daddy moving away? Angie doesn't see her daddy very much anymore because her mommy is so upset with him."

I covered my mouth trying to stop a sob.

"No, baby he isn't going anywhere."

"But you were yelling at him!"

"I was, I am angry at him. But that doesn't mean that we aren't going to be together."

"You're lying to me! Angie said her mom said the same thing and her dad moved out the same night!"

She looked scared and started to back away.

"No! Aria, everything is going to be fine!"

"NO IT WON'T!"

She stared to run away.

"Aria! Stop!" I ran after her.

It all happened so fast.

"ARIA!"

She ran into the road.

"ARIA! NO!"

SCREEEECCCHHHHH!

I covered my mouth.

CRASH!

"NO!" I cried.

...

"How is she?" I asked.

"Fine, she's resting upstairs." Adam said.

He looked drained, his eyes were still puffy from crying.

"We almost lost her..." I whispered, tears falling from my eyes.

"But we didn't, she's fine. The doctor said she was lucky to walk away with only a couple bruised ribs, some bruises, and a broken arm." He said walking towards me.

"Adam, what are we doing?" I cried.

"I don't know, but I know what I'm doing. I'm going to tell you what happened. I got a promotion at work, and that promotion was suppose to go to Ashley. I received several threats from her ranging from telling our boss I sexually harassed her to trying to ruin my marriage. I brushed it off as some harmless threats, but maybe I shouldn't of. Look, I know this is a lot to take in and I just hope that you believe me. I would never hurt you like that, ever."

I looked at him, his eyes filled up with tears. My heart told me that he was telling the truth, and I chose at that moment to trust my heart.

"I'll believe you on one condition."

"Anything."

"Take her down." I said.

"I'm going too, I'm taking the letter to my boss and explaining everything to him Monday morning."

"We almost lost our baby girl today."

"But we didn't, both my girls are safe and sound.

"I'm sorry I got all crazy." I said.

"Don't be, don't you dare ever change a thing about you."

I smiled.

Not a lot of pictures!
What a crazy update! Kayla and Adam almost got divorced and Aria got hit by a car! =[ Everything worked out though!

Thank you for reading my story, let me know if it ever gets boring or seems to be dragging out too long!

What a cow that Ashley is! While I can understand Kayla being hurt and angry, she still should have let Adam have a chance to speak. After all the time they've been together, I can't believe she took the word of some stranger over her own husband! That being said, if he had actually cheated: take him down! I've been in Aria's position (not being hit by a car helped lol) and it sucks! The snide little comments, the outright arguments, the silent treatment where I'm the only one either of them talk to... It would have been easier if my mom had just left him, no matter how much I love my dad! That staying together for the sake of the kids is a crock of bull story!
