Oh, don't you worry! I have something up my sleeve! I'm going to play here in a bit so should have one if not more updates coming later today!

WOW. Not playing around, are you? Great update.

Love the house. Did you design that or download it?

"Here, I brought you some food." Liam said.

"I'm not hungry."

"Em, you have to eat."

"I'm not hungry."

Liam sighed, "You're pregnant, you need to eat. If not for you, do it for the baby."

I glared at him before taking the plate.

"Eat."

I sighed before taking a bite.

"Thank you."

"I'm not a child." I snapped.

"I know."

I sighed, "I'm sorry."

"No need to be, I can't even imagine what this is like."

I half smiled.

The next couple days passed and there was no change. Fredrik was still in a coma with no signs of coming out of it.

"What are you doing?" Liam asked.

"Rachel's birthday is today, and she had asked me to make strawberry cake." I said.

"You don't have to do that."

"I know I don't have too, but I want too."

"I just wish you'd take it easy."

I slammed the bowl and spoon down and leaned against the counter.

"Emma?"

"I'm trying to keep my cool, I am. It's just hard when everyone is tip toeing around me because they don't want to 'upset' me, or 'anger' me. Also, this whole you should be taking it easy crap? I'm pregnant not invalid. I assure you I can bake a cake without getting worn out, especially since I'm in my first trimester!" I snapped.

The air filled with awkwardness for a few moments.

"Look, I'm sorry. I just am stressed and this special treatment crap isn't helping. As it looks I will be a single mother, and if that's the case then I would like to start that chapter of my life without pity." I sighed.

"I understand, I'm sorry."

He walked over to me and kissed the side of my head.

"He'll come out of it." He whispered.

My eyes filled up with tears, "I'm not so sure of that."

He rubbed my back before heading out of the room.

"Happy birthday dear Rachel, happy birthday to you!"

She was a teenager now, and boy was she stunning!

After she aged up we celebrated Steven's birthday!

Ryan and Liam made the decision to go ahead and explain the whole adoption to him. He handled it pretty well, and there were no hurt feelings.

I shuffled across the room and pulled back the covers, I laid down and looked at Fredrik's side of the bed.

"I miss you." I whispered.

My jaw dropped when I was finished tweaking Rachel! She's beautiful! Let me know what you guys think!

"You're home!"

"I never left."

"You were in a car accident, they said you may never come out."

"I would never leave you."

He gently kissed me.

I gasped as my eyes shot open. I sighed as I rubbed my face, I looked down at my swollen stomach before checking the time.

"Crap!"

I was late getting up, the kids had to be at school in twenty minutes and I haven't packed their lunch yet! I placed a hand on my stomach and pushed myself out of bed. I wobbled as fast as I could to the kitchen to see Liam working on the lunch bags.

"I'm sorry! I woke up late!" I said placing a hand on my back.

"No worries, how's the baby?" He asked.

"Kicking up a storm!" I said placing a hand on my stomach.

I sat down on a stool and grabbed a bag, I began filling it with a sandwich, apple, a bag of chips and some money for a drink. The phone rang, I got up and hurried to the phone.I listened to the automated message.

"Well, no school today." I said hanging up the phone.

"What?"

"Apparently there was a gas leak."

"Well, looks like we don't need to pack the lunches."

The kids were excited to not have to go to school, especially since it was Friday.

"Lunch time!"

"Emma?" Liam asked.

"Emma."

My head slipped from my hand and I jumped.

"Wha-What?"

"How about you go lay down, Rachel and I can handle the little ones."

I nodded as I headed into the house. I groaned when I heard a knock on the door, the last time there was someone at the door telling me that my husband was in an accident. I could only imagine what this could be, at least I knew that everyone I cared for was safely in the back yard.

"Can I hel-"

"Hello."

I gasped and covered my mouth.

"Emma?"

"How-This isn't funny. What's going on?"

Tears filled my eyes as I stared at what appeared to be my husband.

"It's me, I would have called you when I woke up yesterday but I wanted to surprise you."

"What?!" I cried.

"I had to stay overnight for tests, but miraculously I am fine."

I sobbed in my hands.

"Honey." He said stepping into the house.

"I thought you were dead!"

He hugged me and then felt something unusual.

"Wha-" He said pulling away.

He looked at my belly with wide eyes, "You're pregnant?!"

I half laughed and half cried, "I was going to tell you when you got home, but then you never showed."

"Oh my god!"

"I'm so sorry I left you to deal with this." He whispered.

"It's fine, you're here now."

The family was shocked but relieved that everything was okay and that he was alive. After hours of everyone spending time with him, I was glad to have some alone time.

"I hope it's a girl." Fredrik said.

"I have a feeling it's another boy."

"Either way, I'll be happy."

I smiled.

I also had a feeling it would be any day now because these back aches were getting worse.

And I was right because the next day my water broke and the contractions started.

Hours and hours later, my suspicion was proved right. We welcomed baby Austin into the world.

I was happy he was here, the back aches and not being able to see my feet was getting old.

The next couple days all four of us celebrated our birthdays into adulthood!

Time to start the next chapter of our lives!

Welcome Austin!

The birthdays got all screwy somehow, I had to age them all at the same time. Liam was somehow going to age before Emma, not sure how it happened! Anyway, hope you enjoyed this chapter!

I think some people have reported that pregnancies mess with the aging of female sims. That might explain it.

Good update!

"Please go to sleep." I whispered.

It was three in the morning and I haven't been able to go to sleep yet.

It took another thirty minutes but Austin finally went down. I walked downstairs and crawled in bed next to Fredrik.

"Did he finally go down?" He whispered.

"Yes." I yawned.

"That's good."

Two hours later Austin woke up crying, I groaned and pulled the covers over my head.

"I've got him." Fredrik said.

I mumbled a thank you and tried to go back to bed.

"We need to give mama some time to sleep." I heard him say over the baby monitor.

"You look beautiful."

I smiled, "You're just saying that."

"No, I truly mean it."

I rolled my eyes.

"I was so scared when you were in a coma, I thought I would have to be a single mom."

"Well, god forbid this ever happens, if I die before I'm suppose too I took a out a life insurance plan at work. You and the children should be able to live comfortably off of that. So that will help you out a bit in that department."

"I hope that never happens."

"It won't."

"Pew pew! Pew pew!"

"Whoa! Who are you shooting at?!" I asked.

"Pirates who are tryin' to steal my gold mama!" Colton said.

"Are you getting them?"

"Oh yeah!"

"Listen, you have school tomorrow so finish up getting the bad guys then I want you in the house and getting ready for bed time okay? You need a bath tonight."

"Yes mama."

I walked into the nursery to give Austin his bath.

"Are you spoiling your cousin?" I asked.

"Never." Rachel said smiling.

"I have to give him his bath now."

"I can do it!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah!"

Rachel wasn't your normal teenager. Instead of going out with friends she would rather stay at home with her family. She had a good head on her shoulders, I was glad that I wouldn't have to worry much about her.

Short update! Sorry about that! Should have another one by tonight hopefully!

"Should we tell the others?"

"I don't know."

I sighed.

"How did this happen?" I asked.

"We took on way too much, with as many mouths to feed and all the bills, we are drowning." Fredrick said.

"We could ask Liam and Ryan to get a job."

He shook his head, "I don't think that would make a dent. Rent is getting higher and higher, we have enough for the $16,000 this month but next month is going to be tricky."

"This is unfair! The kids love this house. How do we tell them that they may have to up and move into a smaller house?"

"I don't know."

We had no time to dwell, Colten was turning into a teenager today so we had to celebrate that!

He was a music lover and he wanted to become a musician one day. He wasted no time in practicing every instrument we had.

Soon after Colten turned into a teenager, Austin turned into a child!

Fredrick and I tried our hardest to put on a brave face and a smile so that the family had no clue what was going on. There was no use upsetting the children unless there was a reason for it.

Everything kept going down hill from there though, sinks were breaking, TVs were going down, the garbage was piling up. I felt like I was running up a hill only to be pushed down once I got to the top. I was about to either scream or run away, or maybe both.

"Can someone please take out the trash?!" I screamed.

Bum bum bum...

"It's just temporary." I told the kids.

"So we can come back?" Rachel asked.

"I don't know if this house will still be here when we can afford a bigger one, but we won't be in a small one for long. We just have to get back on our feet."

"Our lives are going to change." Colten said.

"For now yes, I'm going to need you and Rachel to really step up here. All the adults will have a job now, and we have roughly the same hours. So here are the rules of the new house. Everyone comes home from school and the first thing you do is homework, got it?"

They agreed.

"Rachel, you have the mother instinct so I will need you to get dinner started while you wait for which ever adult gets home first. I will make a meal plan so you know what to cook on what night."

"Okay."

"Colten, your job is to keep the house in order. That means chores are done, and you make sure your younger brother and cousin's chores are done also and their needs are taken care of."

He nodded.

So the next couple days were spent packing and moving into the new house.

"The kitchen is nice!" Ryan said.

"I hope we can get a small table so all of us could sit." I said.

"Where are we going to fit it?" Liam asked.

"We'll find somewhere."

"So where are we sleeping?" Rachel asked.

"Colten and Austin will be with Fredrick and I and then you and Steven will be in with Liam and Ryan."

"We have to share rooms?!" Austin asked.

"For now, yes."

He sulked to the bedroom.

"I'll go talk to him." Colten said.

"Thanks."

Our routine that we set up before moving in has so far been working.

"I made cookies boys!"

"Thanks mom!" Austin said.

Austin and Steven ran into the kitchen and grabbed a plate.

"Mama, Colten helped me with my homework today, and then we played catch!"

"He did?"

"Yeah!"

I smiled as Colten bent down and gave his baby brother a hug, those two have developed a bond.

Within the next couple days we will celebrate Rachel's birthday and Austin's birthday!

What can I say, I'm looking forward to the challenge of having eight sims in a two bedroom house haha. Let me know what you think! =]

It's been a few months since moving into the home and patience were running thin. Most of the time we were tripping over each other because there were so many people in one small house. The children were getting irritated at having to share rooms which made life even harder.

"Austin! Stop pestering your cousin!" I shouted.

"He started it!"

"I don't care who started it, I'm finishing it!"

Austin huffed and walked out of the room.

The only person I had yet to hear a complaint from was Rachel. She did everything we asked her to do around the house and she made sure to keep it spotless.

We had hoped to be in a new house by the time the next round of birthdays came around but that wasn't the case.

Rachel was now a young adult

Steven grew up to be a teenager

The night of the birthdays we brought the family around in the kitchen for a small meeting.

"What is this about?"Colten asked.

"We have some news." Fredrick said.

"Good news I hope." Rachel said.

"Yes, between your father and I and Liam and Ryan having jobs and bringing in money we think that we are able to afford a new home." I said smiling.

We waited for cheering and happiness, we got some from Austin but the older kids just looked at us.

"Why aren't you guys excited?" I asked.

"How long are we going to be living in the new house?" Steven asked.

"Hopefully for forever." I said.

"But there's always a chance we have to move?" Colten asked.

"There's always a chance that anything can happen. Nothing is ever set in stone." Liam mentioned.

"Okay, let's do it." Rachel said, always looking on the bright side.

Time sure flies by! I should have another update or two tonight, I just got the patio stuff pack so I'm going to go play around with that! Hope you enjoyed this short update! Thanks for all the views! =]

Moving day.

"Where does this go?" One of the movers asked.

I directed him where to put our new piano.

The only weird thing about the house was the backyard was facing the street and the front yard was facing the back. Must have been a huge error when building the house!

Liam and Ryan were the first to test out the new hot tub.

"How about we celebrate?" Liam asked.

"Celebrate?"

"Yeah."

That night we had a hot tub and pool party. Fredrick grilled burgers and hot dogs while the kids enjoyed the pool.

"I had this drink the other night, it was really good." Rachel said.

"Is that what you're making?" I asked.

"Yeah, you should try it!"

"Sure."

Colten loved that we had a piano again, he was rusty but excited to learn more.

Liam had some exciting news when he came home. He got a promotion!

The money situation so far was good, with all four of us having a job it seemed to go smoothly. Rachel was even looking into a job to help out a bit too.

"May I join you?"

Fredrick turned his head and looked up at me.

"I don't know, my wife would get jealous if she knew there was a beautiful girl standing here asking to join me in a hot tub." He smiled.

"Well, I won't tell her if you don't" I winked.

"Hmmm, tempting."

I got in and moved close to him.

"How tempting?"

"Tempting enough to be in a hot tub with a hot girl."

"Hmm, I'm hot am I?"

I kissed him.

He smiled, "If my wife finds out-"

"Oh, she won't."

I grabbed him by the shoulders and pulled him in the water as we both giggled.

Life was good.

I didn't notice that I placed the house backwards until it was way too late to fix! Whoopsy! Hope you guys enjoyed this! =]
