"I'm ready for this child to exit my body."

Shayne laughed, "I don't think it works that way. I think it has to be ready before you are ready."

I groaned.

I was as big as a whale!

But, I didn't have to wait too much longer because that night I had pains in my stomach.

"Shayne!"

Nothing. I felt more pain followed by my water breaking.

"Crap!" I hissed.

"SHAYNE!"

He came running in with nothing but a towel around his waist and dripping wet.

"What?!" He gasped.

"It's time."

"Now?!"

"YES NOW!" I screamed.

"Okay! Okay don't freak out! I- I- uh- I need to change." He said rushing around.

Next thing I knew we were at the hospital.

Shayne was there holding my hand the entire surgery.

I closed my eyes until I heard the beautiful cry of our baby.

"Congratulations guys, you have a baby boy."

I burst out in tears and covered my face.

"What's wrong?!" Shayne asked.

"We have a boy!" I cried and laughed at the same time.

He smiled and bent down giving me a kiss.

Meet Liam!

We barely got him home and settled before Emma scooped him up and spent some bonding time with her new baby brother.

Welcome Liam! :)

"Emma! Time for school!"

"Coming!"

She was so happy to be a big sister.

"Emma! School!"

I stood in the doorway watching.

"I will be home in a few hours, and then I am going to read you the next chapter of our book. Find out what happens to the teddy bear!" She said.

I smiled.

I gave her a kiss on the cheek before she left for school.

"Your sister loves you so much."

It was crazy to think about the fact that Liam was going to be a child within the next couple days.

"It feels like I just had him!" I told Shayne.

"I know, they grow up so fast."

"I wonder if he will have your hair or mine."

"I hope he has your beautiful hair."

I blushed.

He enjoyed being a father to his daughter, but he was definitely enjoying the special bond that was forming with his son.

And before we knew it...

... Liam grew up to be a child!

And he had my hair, I just hope that he won't suffer through school like I did because the children wouldn't stop laughing at me.

This is a fail on writing... I just wasn't feeling very inspired I guess but needed to update the story so I didn't fall behind with the game.

Let me know what you think! =]

I don't think this chapter was a fail.  I thought it was sweet and conveys the love this family feel for Liam.  I like his red hair... but then I'm part Irish so that's a given for me.  :P

I hate to admit it but I let the store slip. By the time I got back to it all my employees had quit and found other jobs. I ran my fingers through my hair as I looked at the computer for new employees and picked out the three I thought would do the best job.

I had a few days off of work and all my responsibilities were taken care of so I spent a few days at the store. We could use the extra money anyway.

"I'm home!"

I walked into the dining room.

"Hi mama!" Liam smiled.

"Hi baby." I said kissing his head.

"We're almost finished with homework." Emma told me.

"Good, make sure to check your brothers."

"Yes mama."

I walked into the kitchen and smelled food.

"My husband is cooking?!" I gaped.

He laughed.

"I can stop."

"No! Please, keep going."

I walked over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Shayne was doing great at his job, he seemed to really enjoy herself.

I was out in the yard picking up some trash while the kids got ready for bed. Shayne was going to be home shortly so I just though I'd do some cleaning. I felt someone grab me and I screamed, I was thrown backwards and felt someone kiss me.

"Shayne!" I gasped.

"I missed you." He whispered.

"I missed you too."

He grabbed my hand and led me to the telescope.

"What are you doing?" I gasped.

"Come on."

"Shayne! We can't!" I gaped.

"Sure we can!"

"Shayne! The kids are in the house! They could see us!"

"Come on, let's spend some alone time. The kids will be fine."

"I can't believe we are doing this."

Hello! I haven't forgotten about you guys or the story! I just finished a 10 day work streak so I haven't had much time to play! Hope you guys enjoyed this update! =]

Emma has moved on from the piano to wanting to become a chef.

She pretty much spent all day and night working on perfecting her cooking skill. We had so many precooked meals we were donating a lot to the local homeless shelter.

"I'm glad you found something you enjoy." I told her.

"I really do!" She beamed.

I bit into the pork chops that she cooked.

"Oh man, this is delicious!"

"Thank you!"

With Shayne at work most of the day and me working at home and away from home, it was a struggle keeping the children happy. We seemed to be doing a good job of it because they hardly complained.

Except of course, when we over look a birthday...

"I am so sorry honey."

"It's fine."

"No it's not, your mother and I had no excuse."

"Really. It's fine."

We hugged her and baked her a cake even though it was too late.

"I got a job!"

Emma shot through the door and into the kitchen the next day.

"MOM! I got a job!"

"What?!"

"Yeah! You are looking at the newest chef! Well, not yet but I will be one day!"

"Oh honey!"

I hugged her.

"I have to go work on my drink mixing skills."

The next birthday we celebrated was Liam's a few days after we celebrated Emma's.

"I want my sister to bake the cake! She's going to be famous one day." Liam beamed up at Emma.

"Aw, thanks baby brother." I said ruffling his hair.

"Hey!"

The next thing we knew Liam grew up to be a teenager!

Family picture!

"This is amazing cake!"

"Thanks mama."

I was very happy with my life and my beautiful family!

Emma is a young adult and Liam is a teenager! =D
