I am so jealous!!  I love getting my hands massaged.  Adam is a good looking kid.  Might be something there if his traits are good.

He turned out awesome! I just did the random button, and tweaked him a bit and that was the outcome!

Working on an update now! =] Big shock coming!!!

Kayla's POV

"I know!"

I took my shoes off and flung myself on my bed, I rolled on my back and looked up at the ceiling.

"He's coming over tonight!" I said into the cell phone.

I was talking to Julie, one of my best friends. We were in the same home room and Biology together.

"Hey did you understand question five on the homework? Yeah, me either."

There was a knock on the door, I looked up and saw dad standing at the door.

"Hey, Julie? I have to go, parent patrol."

We hung up the phone and I sat up.

"Your mother was telling me that Adam is coming over?" He asked sitting in front of me.

"Yeah, is that okay?" I asked.

"That's fine."

I smiled.

"What are you guys planning on doing?" He asked.

"I don't know, maybe hit up the hot tub."

"Do you have a one piece bathing suit?"

"Daddy!" I giggled as I pushed him gently.

He smiled.

"You're my baby girl, I have to protect you."

"I know daddy."

...

"So, I saw you in the hallway today."

"You did?" I asked.

"Yeah, I tried to wave but you were too busy talking to Julie."

"Oops."

"Hey guys."

We looked up as my mother climbed into the hot tub.

"Hi mom..."

She smiled at Adam who awkwardly smiled back.

"How about we go watch the stars." I suggested.

"Sounds good."

...

"So, how's Adam?"

"He's good."

"Good."

He looked at me.

"Dad, I'm not ready for that yet. I know that's what you have been hinting at."

"I have not!"

I looked at him.

"Okay, I have."

"I promise that when I am ready, and that will be forever and a day from now, I will go to mom."

"I can live with that."

...

"Coming!"

I sprinted to the door and opened it and my heart stopped.

"Kayla."

I looked over my shoulder to make sure no one else was coming and stepped on the porch. I bit my lip and faced the person who was standing on the porch.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm not sure really." Connor said.

I just looked at him.

"You've grown."

"Yeah, that generally happens when you are gone for a long period of time." I jabbed.

"Okay, I deserve that."

"You disappear and then just show up one day out of the blue?! No note, no phone calls?! How can you just show up and expect me, or anyone else, to be happy?!"

"I know you are angry but-"

"Angry?! No, I've moved passed angry and went straight to livid. You weren't there to watch mom as she cried in bed for weeks, even months, because of you! You weren't there to see her barely eat anything! You weren't there to move out of the house in practically a day because she couldn't stand being in that house for another minute! All because of YOU! And why?! Because you didn't like that they set rules for you!" I screamed.

"Kayla, please!"

"NO! NO! Connor you up and left! With no warning or explanation! We were kids, we looked up to you!"

"I know-"

"No you don't. You don't know. I loved you! There's still a part of me that always will! But I don't think I could ever forgive you for what you did to mom and dad, to us."

"Will you please just tell mom and dad I'm here, I want to talk to them."

"No."

"Why?"

I laughed at him, "Why?! Because they have finally moved on."

He looked at me.

"They would want to see me."

"No, they wanted to see their first born grow up. But that was ruined because he couldn't handle the 'difficult' rules that were set in place for him."

"They were-"

"I'm done with the excuses. So you can just leave and never come back, because the pain of having you walk in our lives and leave again would be unbearable. So just do us all a favor and leave."

He looked at me shocked, but turned and walked off the porch. He turned around at the end of the steps.

"For what it's worth, I will always love you guys."

I crossed my arms and looked at the ground, "I know."

...

"So he just showed up?" Adam asked.

"Yeah, out of no where."

"Did you tell your parents?"

"No, and I don't plan too."

He finished giving me a massage and I got dressed.

"That's a touch decision you made."

"I had to do what I thought was best for the family."

He nodded.

"Hey look! Your shoe is untied!"

He looked down and when he looked up a flicked his nose.

"Very funny!" He laughed.

I laughed.

"Got you!" He said.

I shrieked.

"Kayla! Time for Adam to go home!" Mom screamed.

We walked inside.

"I had fun today."

"Oh yeah." I laughed.

"I'll see you tomorrow?"

I smiled, "You can bet on it."

So Connor just randomly popped up at the door, so I took that as a sign to write a little drama into the story. What do you think? Was Kayla right or should she have reacted differently? Let me know what you think! =]

Kayla might be growing older but she hasn't grown up.  She isn't yet a mother so she has no idea of the heartbreak her parents harbour and will always endure until they have certainty about Connor's whereabouts.  I'm so mad at Kayla right now.   >:(

Note: I made an oops and for some reason thought that Ethan's name was Ryan! I seemed to only do it in the last post so I just went a head and fixed it! Just thought I'd mention that though for anyone who caught it and was confused! On with the story...

Rachel's POV

I walked back into the house from getting the mail and sat down next to Ethan.

"This is weird." I said.

"What's up?"

"An envelope with nothing written on it."

He scooted closer to me, I gasped as I read the first few lines along with Ethan.

Dear mom and dad,

I came by the house the other day. Kayla answered the door. I would like to say that the reunion was a pleasant one, but it wasn't. I understand though, I can't just expect to come back in and everything be okay again.

I just feel like I should explain why I did what I did. It was more then not liking the rules. I wanted to be independent, I wanted to make my own decisions. I felt, and still do, that I wasn't going to be able to do that while living under your guys' roof. I'm not saying that to be mean or rude, I love you guys. I'm sorry it had to end the way it did. Please don't be hurt by my decision, I'm happy where I am and I'm safe.

I will honor Kayla's request and stay away, but I think it's fair to send letters here and there.

I love you guys and I hope you can forgive me.

Connor

I covered my mouth.

"He was here." I choked out.

"KAYLA!" Ethan roared.

He stood up and waited for Kayla to come in the living room.

"Yes daddy?"

"Connor was here?"

She looked like a deer in head lights.

"Answer me!"

"Yes."

"And you told him to leave?" I asked, tears in my eyes.

"I didn't want him to hurt you guys anymore." She said.

"Look at your mother! Does it seem like it worked?!"

"I'm sorry!"

"The next time, if there even will be a next time, he comes here and you keep it from us you are going to be in trouble!"

"Yes daddy."

She hung her head as she left the room.

"I cannot believe she did that." Ethan said.

I covered my face with my hands and cried. He pulled me into a hug and kissed the top of my head.

"He was here!" I sobbed.

"I know."

"He was here and we didn't get to see him!"

"I know."

My baby would probably never come back home now, but at least we had the small hope of letters to keep us updated. I only wish we knew where he was sending them from.

Just a small update with the reactions of Ethan and Rachel for you while I work on getting another update out! They were NOT happy that Kayla did that, and it will probably be a while til their relationship is back to normal...

Well, DUH!  Prodigal son and all!  Of course the parents wanted to see him.  Ah well, she meant well and I'm sure they'll forgive her.

Kayla's POV

"You really like him."

"I do." I blushed.

Amber hugged me.

"I am so happy for you."

"Thank you."

"Maybe someday I'll get a prince charming."

"I hope!"

I walked into the backyard and sat on the bench.

"Kayla?"

I turned around and saw mom, I stood up slowly. Ever since the whole Connor incident things have been a little tense between mom, dad, and I.

"Yeah?"

"I shouldn't do this, but Adam is out front. He said he needs to talk to you and that it's important."

My eyes went wide.

"Mom, is he breaking up with me?" I said, my voice shaking.

"Oh honey, I'm sure that's not what it is." She said hugging me.

"Go talk to him." She said.

"Okay."

"Ten minutes, then it's back inside."

I nodded and walked to the front yard where Adam stood with his hands in his pockets.

"Hey." He said.

"Hi."

"I- Uh- I brought you this."

He pulled out a rose.

"This doesn't sound good."

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"Can you just say it? Please?" I said.

"Say what?"

"That you are breaking up with me."

My voice shook with each word.

"What?!"

"Well that's what it has to be!"

"No! Of course I'm not breaking up with you!"

"Well then what is it?"

He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Adam?"

I took his hand.

"My parents kicked me out of the house."

"What?!" I gasped.

"They got mad at me being around here all the time, and suspected that you were a bad influence on me because my grades are slipping. They told me that if I wanted to throw my life away and spend time here then I might as well live here. I have no where to go, my aunt told me that I could stay with her but she lives a couple hours away."

I covered my mouth.

"I don't know what to do."

I was speechless, "There has to be another way."

"Short of moving in here, which your parents won't allow, I don't think I have a choice but to move in with my aunt."

...

"I don't understand why you are acting like this!" I screamed.

"Because Kayla! He has other options!" Dad said.

"So you are just going to let him move a million miles away?!"

"I'm sorry, but this is how it has to be right now."

"This is so unfair!"

"No, what's unfair is not telling us about Connor." He said.

"I'm never going to live that down am I?!"

"Not until you realize what you did was wrong!"

"Okay, okay enough." Mom stepped in.

I crossed my arms and looked out the window.

"Does he get along with his aunt?" She asked.

Dad looked at her questioning her with his eyes.

"No, he said the last time he saw her she was so drunk she couldn't stand up straight."

"Does this happen often?" She asked.

"Yes, when he was five she hit him because broke a glass."

Mom bit her lip. There was a long pause before she spoke up again.

"He is to get a part time job and contribute to the household in whatever way your father and I feel necessary. He is to do his homework every day and get the grades up. He will have his own bedroom, though it will be a small, and you two are not to be alone in it. He breaks any of these rules then he will be going to stay with his aunt."

"Oh thank you! Thank you mom! Thank you! He won't let you down! I won't let him!" I attacked her with a hug and a kiss on the cheek and ran out of the room to call Adam.

Rachel's POV

I smiled as I watched Kayla run from the room. I knew Ryan was livid and I slowly turned around.

"What was that?" He asked.

"Oh what was I suppose to do?!"

"I don't know, let him go to his aunts?!"

I put my hands on my hips, "You're telling me that if you were in the same situation that you wouldn't want to stay with me?"

"Don't try to guilt me into agreeing with this!"

"She's in love Ryan! You remember what being a teenager and being in love felt like!"

"Yeah, but my parent's sure as heck wouldn't of let my girlfriend from high school move in!"

"Ryan it's Christmas! No child should have to spend the holidays away from home with his drunk aunt!"

"And if he breaks her heart? Then what? She has to come home day after day to her ex boyfriend living in her house?"

"Of course not."

He sighed.

"Fine."

I hope Rachel knows what she's doing! Sorry it's been a couple months! Life and such =]
I hope to get the new expansion on pay day, I've heard good things about it! Let me know what you think!

Kayla's POV

"So why are we outside?" I asked.

"I wanted to ask you something in private." Adam said.

"Oh boy."

"We're already boyfriend and girlfriend."

"Yes?"

He shifted nervously and pulled out something in a velvet box, my eyes widened.

"Adam..."

"I was wondering if you would accept this ring as a promise."

"A promise?"

"Yeah, a promise that someday, in the future of course, that you would do me the honor of becoming my wife."

I covered my mouth.

"Yes!" I practically yelled.

"Really?!"

I nodded, he grabbed my hand and slid the ring on.

He attacked me with a hug and kisses.

"Stop!" I giggled.

"Adam! We are going to get in trouble!" I laughed.

"I'm so happy you said yes!"

...

To celebrate we went out to the newest club in the area.

"May I join you?" Adam asked.

"Of course!"

On the way home we stopped for desert where we found a flyer about creating your own club. We spent the entire night creating a club called The Homebody's.

The club activities:

Do:
-Eat food
-Play video games
-Watch TV
-Swim
-Dance

Don't:
-Fight
-Sabotage objects
-Be mean to others
-Use alien powers
-Be mischievous to anyone

We decided not to have a set place to meet and figured we could find a place at home to throw our gatherings. That was until we went home...

...

"What?!"

"This house isn't big enough anymore." Mom said.

"We're moving again?" I asked.

"I promise that this neighborhood is better! There are a lot more things to do and it's safer!"

I sat down on the couch.

"I love this house." I whispered.

"Me too!" Bentley said.

"Guys, I know this is a major change but your mother and I feel that this is what's best right now." Dad said.

"But my friends are at this school!" Amber said.

"You'll make new friends!"

We all groaned.

...

So, this was our new house built in a town named Windenburg.

I had to admit it was a beautiful house, and it did have an awesome backyard area that we can hold our get togethers for our new club. Maybe this move wouldn't be too bad after all.

I got 'Get Together' as you can see. I'm enjoying it so far, haven't played much with it but I am going to do that now! May get another update out today depending on if I get enough pictures! Let me know what you think! =]
