Worlds with everything
« on: March 31, 2015, 07:16:15 PM »
Hey guys,

I just got all the expansions and started playing again. I haven't for a long time, don't know much about what there is past ambitions.

Is there a single world that contains all the elements of all the different expansions? Like all the spawners, all the different types of lots and shops (and hopefully also the sims store stuff, like apparently there's a casino and any other thing). For instance, in supernatural there's a few different shops that show up. Does any world have these things that all blend together in some natural way? Also I'd like the world populated.

If possible I'l like the style to look like the neighborhood that shipped with the sims originally. The small town with the downtown of brick buildings and such, but I'm less picky about that. I really just want to play every element of all the expansions but just in one neighborhood.

I have a slightly older PC but everything seems to run fine in the EA made worlds no problems. AMD Phenom II X6 3.2GHZ; 16 GB RAM; Nvidia GTX 470.

Hi SimmySam! I don't think and in fact I know that the new bldgs won't be in each world, but I think they are available in the Library. If they aren't, then you can go to each of the worlds you own and place a copy of them in teh Library and then try to place them in another world. That could prove to be tricky though b/c for instance, if you own Roaring Heights and the Boardwalk, the Boardwalk needs to go on a 64x64 lot. In many cases also, I think you need to use CAW (Create a World) to smooth out the ground b/c EA originally made the grounds so lumpy that it's almost impossible to place other lots. I really don't think though, that it is wise to place all the special lots in one world. I think it might drag down that world and make it very laggy. Maybe somebody else knows more.

You could use Create-A-World  but it would lag very badly. It also depends on the lot sizes like I was disappointed to find out that I could not place buildings from Bridgeport in Sunset Valley. You could make your own smaller versions so that they would fit. It is annoying but no matter how much we have, we always want more anyway!  ;D
I'm neurotic all right...
