Can't Get Cheat Code for Familyfunds or Lifetime Points to Work

For some reason I can't get the familyfunds code or the  one "shazaam" to work.. any help?

I don't think shaazam has ever worked, but I use familyFunds all the time.  You have to first enter testingcheatenabled true, and then type in familyFunds [family last name] [dollar amount], taking out the brackets.

So if you want the Landgraabs to have only 1,000 you would enter:

testingcheatsenabled true (enter)
familyFunds landgraab 1000 (enter)

Shazaam has never worked just some annoying myth but here is the working version:

Infinite Lifetime Rewards (Lifetime Happiness Points)
Make your Sim and get them into their house. Save the game once they're moved in, then head back to the main menu. Before you load your Sims 3 saved game again, open the cheat console (Control + Shift + C) and type testingcheatsenabled true. Once you load your Sims game, the testing cheats will still be on. This will allow you to go to the lifetime rewards tab, then control click in the area around the treasure chest icon. The game should be unpaused to do this, or it may appear to not be working. Each click will give your Sim an additional 500 lifetime happiness points. Click away, you've got infinite reward points to spend! Go out and snag that Food Replicator.

Yea, it's really annoying to have to read something like if the person was screaming for help. Pam, can't you change it yourself?

Also, if you do testingcheatsenabled true on the main menu, when you go into the game you must hold Ctrl and mash your left mouse button like 3 or 4 milimeters to the right of the chest in the Lifetime Rewards tab. Each click gives you 500 points.

When I enter familyFunds hoey dollar amount, it tells me "unknown command: familyFunds"

Double check everything.  Make sure you have testing cheats enabled.  Try typing familyfunds without the second F capitalized.  Don't use a dollar sign or commas in the amount.

If you are still having the caps lock problem the press shift while you are typing and it brings it back to lower case letters it gets kind of annoying after awhile but whatever works.

We got the cap lock cleaned and working again! LOL, but no matter how I type it in, it will not work for me. Oh well... I tired!! LOL

I don't understand the lifetime reward cheat never worked for me I did everything required but it doesn't work am I missing something?

I have a hard time on that one too.  On the laptop it is super easy, but on the desktop, I swear I have like a 2 squared pixel area that I can click on to get it to work.  Just move your mouse around very, very slowly until you find that one spot.  Good luck!
