Collection list in game

I've been wondering if there is a way to tell in game how many of a collection I have?

For example I'm pretty sure I have all except one of the plants.

Is there a collection record in game so you can tell without ticking off a manual list of your sims inventory? Or can you only tell when you complete a collection (assuming it tells you somehow)?

I haven't particularly collected before so I might be missing something obvious....

Sorry for the repost but I was missing something obvious...

But for anyone else who is wondering: in the sims personal inventory there is a household collections button (looks like a diamond). Tells you what you have collected....
