Cheat codes not working for job promotions

Hi,

I played Sims 3 for years almost every day and loved it.  I recently started playing Sims 4.  I would like to promote my sim but when I turn on Testingcheats and enter Career.promote X my sims does not get a promotion.  This is how I'm typing it for the business career:

TestingCheats on (works fine)
Careers.promote businesstycoon (nothing happens)

Can anyone clarify if I'm typing it wrong or if you have to advance your career one level at a time.  Do you have to have the skills required for promotion before you can cheat a promotion?

I think it would just be business, not businesstycoon

ohhhh. Okay, I thought you had to enter the level title to get promoted to it.  I'll try that tonight.

It's always the primary name of the career no matter which split.
