how to tell the passing of time-in game?

Is there a way to see how much time has passed in-game?

In Sims 3, you would just hover over the clock to see how many days/weeks have passed for your sims but I haven't been able to work out how to do this in Sims 4 yet.

No, the only thing you can do is keep track of how much time has passed according to your Sims' ages.  If you use life extension, you can keep track of how many times.

Once a sim reaches Elder stage, you can hover over their age bar and it will tell you how many days they've lived.  Divide by 7.

Actually, that only works if the Elder was born into the game. My Immortal Dynasty founder was 100 at the beginning of her Elder years. But I can use her to figure out how many days and weeks have passed in that file -- I just need to subtract 60 from her stated age and then divide by 7 for weeks.

Thanks guys. I do find it a bit annoying that we don't have an easy way to do this but oh well.
