can I move my existing house and family onto a larger lot
« on: March 11, 2015, 03:15:57 AM »
Re: subject above...I'd like a larger lot.  I want to keep my house, just move the whole kit and caboodle (as in sims 3).  I'm hoping not to have to evict them and save to the library as it would remove any relationships and I'd have to build them up again.

Save the house to your library.  Move them to the new lot and if there's a house already there, choose to bulldoze the lot in the moving process.  Once they move to the new lot, simply go to your gallery, pick the house and place it.  Job done. :)

Thanks Dellena.  I'll do that.

Done.  I had a mini heart attack when I placed the house.  The furniture and all his belongings were gone.  It took a couple tries before I discovered it was in the family inventory.  So I had some duplicates.  Some extra money.  I didn't cheat, I put his money back to where it was.

I love the new lot.  The old house was Oakenstead in Willow Creek.
Thanks again.
