Generation 1 - Steven Avenger

He woke in a field in Sunset Valley, no memory of his past. He had a dream of truth and of justice and he went into town, to the police station. Where he signed up for a job, he was assigned by chief Hank Goddard to Justine Keaton as his partner. She was pregnant, they became friends and she, her husband and her to be son moved in with him.

Justine's husband, Marty was in the sports career and he invited a teammate of his, one Agnes Crumpelbottom over. She and Steve hit it off and became friends, lovers, engaged and married in the space of one day. When he assured her "no sculpting was needed", she said "I do". He carried her over the threshold and they tried for baby that night, even as Justine gave birth to a little boy, Peter.

Thanks to her watermelon, Agnes gave birth three days after Peter's birth to a little girl named Janet Avenger. Agnes painted to level 10, and then wrote. Justine had days off which she used to learn logic and painting and athletics.

Marty was back at work, working on his sports career, rising through the ranks and playing games against the nearby teams, winning every game and everyone's admiration. When at home, he primarily gardened.

Due to the wedding, Steve had some days off, and he spent the time on his supermax, getting his logic high enough to challenge others to chess, and using the chemistry table. Once Steve and Justine were back at work, Agnes had the primary care of the two children.

Steven, Marty and Justine steadily rose through their careers and Agnes wrote books - sports, fantasy, fiction, non fiction, comics, drama, and more. She wanted to write masterpieces in times, and once her writing hit level 10, she got to write one. Then as an elder she wrote a history book - "Avengers - Some Assembly Required", a summary of which appears here.

Peter and Janet grew into toddlers, children and then teens as nooboos are want to do and they became friends and then boyfriend/girlfriend. Steve tutored Peter in his childhood and then teenhood to become a teacher extraordinaire and then taught his housemates logic in order to become a skills professor. He also found all the chemistry potions and became a chess grandmaster, much easier when none in the household are celebrities. Finally, his memory must have been returning and he named the stars and planets and moons he found in the night sky by peculiar names - Ultron, Loki and Baron Zemo among them.

A massive meteor landed in the backyard of the mansion quite close to where Janet was practising her alchemy. Doctor Landgraab, who looked as though he must have been well over 100 by that stage, said she was well, even if she was somehow changed. Janet created an apple out of thin air and offered it to Dr Landgraab, asking if that would be sufficient as payment. The doctor, who had made a housecall, laughed somewhat nervously and left hurriedly.

Well before he became an elder, Steven hit the top of the forensic branch of law enforcement and learnt of two distant relatives who died suddenly and who left part of their estates to him. He purchased property around town with the proceeds of the legacy, upgrading the park with toilets, bbqs and more dining tables and providing facilities for the gypsies and ancients to set up in Sunset Valley on the beach near the Wolff's house.

After the meteor incident and an earlier accident with a birthday cake, Steven also made the mansion fireproof. Steven took to calling the house 'Avengers Mansion', and to counter the companies that provided services increasing their bills as a result, Steven ensured that there would be no bills ever. And as Steven and his descendents had dreams of becoming immortal, 'ever' would be a long time.

Everything was in place for Steven's imminent immortality. Death fish were caught, death flowers were in a locked treasure chest, ambrosia was learned, Steven was best friends with fairies, werewolves and vampires (outside of the household, of course), he owned property and a building and he knew all there was to know about logic, completed opportunities and purchased life time wishes with the achievement of his lifetime wish of being a dna profiler. Everything except for one thing - life fruit. Despite all the special seeds found and grown, not one was life fruit. Then one was found and grown, back up people learned ambrosia recipe in case Grim came for Agnes before it could be made, but happily the making of the ambrosia was successfully made by Agnes and on Wednesday of week 7 as the sims tell time, the food replicators were loaded with ambrosia and Steven 'Cap' Avenger consumed ambrosia for the first time.

On completion of his duties, Steven decided to keep his career and spend his off time learning how to paint portraits and continue his athletic endeavours. The first avenger

Thanks Lisa, Tiamet and Nettlejuice. Just so you all know, Steve is still an adult, not an elder. I'm sorry for the confusion, but he's still working towards immortality. He does become an elder in game in 2 days, and his grandson, Bruce, becomes a toddler at the same time. Bruce's favourite colour is lime, kind of appropriate for him actually.

Still working on getting the pictures up for it.

Generation 2 - Janet Avenger

Born on Wednesday of the first week, Janet is the Generation 2 heir of the Avengers. She grew up in the cot next to Peter Keaton and throughout their toddler they played at the dollhouse together. At primary school, they became friends, even though Peter was older than her. When they attended highschool, they became boyfriend and girlfriend. Such was their devotion to each other that Peter refused to go to his prom as she wasn't able to attend. By the time that Janet's prom came around, Peter had already graduated and Janet likewise refused to attend her prom.

It was during her high school years that Janet was able to focus on what would become her supermax: alchemy. A part of the backyard was fenced off, just behind Steven's outdoors logic area and an alchemy station was set up for her. She started researching alchemy recipes and brewing them. Marty, having purchased the bookshop bargainer LTR went to the local bookstore in the valley and purchased one of each alchemy book, as well as some cooking books. It was during one of these outside alchemy research times that Janet suddenly realised that the night sky was becoming dark(er) and that everyone from around town came running to the mansion. Janet narrowly avoided being squashed flat by the meteor, but she said she felt different. Dr Landgraab ran tests on her and determined she was still healthy but that he had found that something had changed inside her. He assured her household that she would be fine. Janet conjured an apple at that point and tried to give it to the Doctor in payment, but he remembered another appointment and left hurriedly.

On the day Janet finished her schooling, she and her long term love interest, Peter Keaton renewed their romance. Janet proposed to him in order to keep the Avenger name, he said yes, and the household travelled to Stoney Falls to have the wedding. Janet purchased and upgraded Stoney Falls with bathroom and dining facilities and a lovely outdoor wedding arch and chairs to celebrate further Avenger weddings. Janet and Peter tied the knot and Peter booked the pair of them a romantic honeymoon to China in order to pick up Chinese books, recipes, and skilling equipment. They also celebrated their first night as a married couple in the shower and in bed.

Travelling back home, Peter and Janet discovered that they were expecting a nooboo and Janet went on a fad diet of 'Apples not Watermelons' as featured previously on the Dr Narnia show. The diet worked and Janet gave birth to a little boy named Bruce. She knew there was something strange about him, and she wondered if Dr Landgraab's prognosis was right or not. But still, she loved for and cared for her little boy and she wasn't alone in her devotion, the entire household wanted to be able to snuggle, play with and cuddle the little nooboo.

Janet tried to become a fortuneteller, but was unable to work out how to get into the fortune teller's hut and so instead became a self employed alchemist. She quickly rose to the rank of alchemy artisan and became the premiere alchemist in the valley, rivaling the Crumplebottom sisters of Moonlight Falls with her skills. She decided to further her opportunities in the business world and joined the 'Gnomes Home' office in Sunset Valley, headed by the decidedly ancient Thornton Wolff. She was able to use some of the Avenger's resources to purchase the vault of antiquity and purchased some flying vacuums and developed magic hands. She was wanting to purchase a second philosopher's stone, but needed to wait, perhaps until after she threw enough potions to join alchemist's anonymous.

She had already brewed close to 200 potions and she had learned all the available alchemy recipes and so she now turned her attention to throwing her potions at others. A lot of the time, it seemed that she was throwing the potions at thin air, but she assured her family that Lucky enjoyed entering almost constant bliss and never having to sleep. Like her father she paused in her work from time to time to pose for portraits that her mother did and these were placed in the family portrait gallery upstairs. Who would take over the portraits when mum died, she wondered. She just hoped it wouldn't be her. She didn't mind art, particularly when it was someone else's work! But she couldn't get the hang of painting. Give her an alchemy station any day.

When Janet became a division manager, she began to call meetings. Her meetings in the main involved her casting charms at her fellow workers, throwing potions at her fellow workers and entertaining her fellow workers with her magical feats. She began to doubt that her mother and parents in law would never die. She loved them all dearly, but she and her father both knew that for the Avengers to be fully assembled, that all in their current household with the exception of the two of them and her son would have to die one day, and based on the looks that Bruce and Jennifer began giving each other, she suspected her son and his girlfriend would like to be able to try for baby on their graduation night, just like she and Peter did.

Peter was a good man to her and a good father to Bruce. Although he did say from time to time that his senses were tingling, in the main he was a normal man. But she thought he was a great man, and all great men have great responsibility. He did, afterall devote his adulthood to their house, pottering in the garden and fishing from the family pond. He never pursued a career, but he said he was happy to support her and be a role model for Bruce.

Bruce, would he ever grow out of his greenness? Would he ever learn that being green isn't very easy?

Aw, that was sweet of Janet and Peter not to attend Prom without each other. A lot of people are having meteor showers lately, but not me  ::) Welcome Bruce.

Generation 3 - Bruce Avenger

It was clear that there was something unusual about Bruce from the moment he was taken home. He was a healthy boy with all the right number of fingers and toes and a very healthy pair of lungs. But his face was green. No, he wasn't sick constantly, his face was literally green.

As a toddler, he played with the doll house his parents played with during their toddlerhoods. He used to love smashing the dolls down and biting at their heads. When he began to talk, he said "Bruce Smash" and "Bruce is the strongest one their is. A mysterious family member sent a present to Bruce, a doll, which he named Jennifer and sang to, and played with, her constantly through his toddlerhood.

When he was a child, he insisted she was still there. Most of the family didn't seem to totally believe him, except for his maternal grandfather, Steven Avenger. Steven had received news of another of his distant family members dying and leaving him a small fortune. That dead family member was a brother to the family member who sent the doll to Bruce. Just ahead of Bruce becoming a teen, Steven presented his grandson with a potion that he had discovered much earlier that he called an 'Imaginary Friend Metamorphosis Potion'. Following his grandfather's instructions, Bruce gave the potion to Jennifer who drank it and became a real sim. As it was just before Bruce's teen birthday, Steven spent a fair bit of one day tutoring Jennifer to get her to an A in school. Even though it was a Saturday, she was still enrolled in primary school. Due to the founder's skills as a tutor, she reached an A in time and like her best friend, Bruce, got to develop her own trait into teenager hood.

As teens, Bruce and Jennifer were very busy, becoming more than 'just friends' early on and agreeing to go to prom together. Having received a warning from Krae, plans to send Jennifer to China with Bruce were put on hold. Following the death of his Agnes, Steven went on holidays to China with Bruce. Bruce was there to work on his martial arts and enter the martial arts tournament, while Steven was there to go on adventures. Bruce exceeded his expectations, winning 11 of the 16 competitive bouts he was in and reaching level 3 of the martial arts competition.  While Bruce kicked, threw and punched his way to level 3, his grandfather explored the halls of the lost army, was asked to help build a telescope and was sent to investigate the Dragon Cave. Both had a relaxing time on their trip and Bruce had put some memories and demons to bed regarding his wife, Agnes and him blaming himself for her death.

On their return home, Steven painted a masterpiece of him as a teenager and that painting was taken upstairs and placed on the teenage wall of the museum by Gramps Steven. He was told he would go up their one day, once he was an elder, but for now he just had to be patient. Bruce was athletic, disciplined, adventurous and loved the outdoors, and he thought that the disciplined part of his simology would help him to be patient and wait for the time to be right.

Now that his holiday was at an end, Bruce and Jennifer readied themselves for school. It turned out that Janet and Peter had contacted the school for homework for the two teenagers to complete on return from their holiday. The homework was waiting for the two teens when they got home, a fact that neither Bruce nor Jennifer were happy about, but they did it without too many complaints ... after all, the sooner they finished it, the sooner they could return to meditating, breaking boards and sparring with each other for fun. Oh and kissing, there was plenty of time for kissing practice ahead of the prom. Jennifer told Bruce she would go to the prom with him, provided the aliens didn't get her first. Strange thing is that seasons isn't installed on the computer, so aliens can't possibly come into play. Could she really just be leading him on? And would Avengers Mansion survive if Bruce became angry or upset? Would anyone like it if he became angry? Only time would tell.

So I get the theme, having played Lego Marvel Superheroes recently; the founder is Captain America, the first heir's spouse is Spiderman, and the second heir is the Incredible Hulk(a lot less scary, though  ;D). I cannot wait to see where this goes.

Don't worry about the screenshots - I find myself taking too many and having to trim. The story is the most important thing.
I play The Sims 4 for fun, so I don't care if I never end up being interviewed for the Dynasty Hall of Fame; people who play for keeps burn out too easily and don't enjoy playing the games, so I am going to not sweat the details.

I am sorry about the state of that last post, I'll have to look into it in the morning sometime, I'm off to bed now. I really shouldn't try to do such things when I'm tire :)
