Martial Arts Guide
« on: November 27, 2009, 06:18:27 AM »
The guide says Sims can zeneport at martial arts level 10 but my Sim could do it the first time she meditated, that is at level 5.

This is my first martial arts Sim so I haven't tested it much. Is there some special circumstance for my Sim, like does this only work in China, or is the guide just wrong?

Heck, I could just be wrong. What would kill me is being wrong on the meditating for 150 hours unlocking tranquil transference -- then I have to wonder what the heck that challenge does for martial artists at all. I'll fix that asap to say you can do it at that level with max "focus". Can anyone confirm that tranquil transference requires the challenge? It could be simply that I didn't notice it but it seemed to appear just after I had completed the challenge...

Okay, I just had another Sim reach level 5 and then meditate and once she started hovering that little comment box in the upper right corner said something like click where you want to zeneport. So I'm sure they can all do that at level 5.
Oh and this takes her about 3 ˝ hours like it says in the guide and she doesn't have the excitable trait.

The tranquil transference thing I don't know about, my Sim can't do that. It's so annoying the game doesn't say what the new challenges actually do.

That's how it happened for me too. Right after completing the MOM ( ::)) challenge my Sim could do the tranquil transference thingie.

Thanks for the confirmation, PJ. Good to know we're right about what one of those challenges does at least ;)
