So many funny moments, the cracking up at the terrifying story; Colt having to beef up his fitness 'coz a girl can't beat him; and Matt's hotdog thrown in the fire to explain the flames in the picture with Alena and Don!! hahaha. Karli is a really pretty sim as well.. was she a townie or did you make her? Anyway, two great chapters!  ;D

I just caught up -- great stuff, and I love the idea of a weenie roast for Arianna's going-away party. Is she the last of the original group?

@Nettlejuice , it is a lot of fun. Unfortunately just after the last screenshot there someone caught fire, which is always amusing... but it caused my PC to crash and so the party actually ended rather abruptly! For some reason the weenie roast party causes my pc to freak out!
@KTK10 Karli's actually my simself... I think she looks a little weird but it's really difficult making yourself, so yeah! I love the screenshot with Alena and Don and the hot dog lol
@sdhoey, Colt really does have this macho personality, it's uncanny! He actually did eventually come and join the party, but then my pc crashed at the fire, typical!  ::)
@MarianT , Arianna is the last of the original group. I annoyingly forgot to write down her skill levels before moving her out so I will need to go into manage worlds and then go play her household to check them out at the end of the challenge (which will be soon!).

Arianna's leaving score is 2,200. I will have to double check her skills but I'm pretty sure she was Fitness 7, Mischief 5, Video Gaming 5, logic 4  and some other lower level skills.

At this point in my game Matt is 5 days away from become an elder. I dare say if I really focused I could get more sims to leave but I'm actually having a lot of fun just watching them do their thing!

P.S. Did you notice The Goths at the party? Well, I have aging off for all unplayed sims. I hate it when the original townies die off and seeing as it's my game and not a challenge... I'm keeping them alive!  ;)

Wednesday 24th

Dear Diary,

Today was awesome. Pearl agreed to go on a date with me. I finally summoned up the courage to ask her.

Pearl is so much fun to be with. I had almost forgotten her infectious laugh.

Everything seems to be 'right' when we are together. I don't know how else to explain it.

I asked her if I could kiss her.

Luckily she gave the right answer.

We practiced for a bit.

I then gave her a rose and asked her if she would be my girlfriend.

Luckily she gave the right answer again. lol. She makes me so happy, it's indescribable!

When I got back to the centre Alena was chatting happily to the frogs and Colt was grumbling that no one ever cleaned up after themselves. Kira just laughed and said she actually missed all the cleaning.

Mulan was enjoying the gaming rig but then felt so tired she had to go back to bed.

Colt, although was enjoying the forums, was actually telling Arianna some sort of story.

And well, Arianna and Herbert were just enjoying each other.

Kasen was working out. Think his weights need adjusting.

Then Mulan somehow got into a bit of an altercation with Kasen...

...and then with Herbert.

Not that I am judging, but perhaps her choice of nightwear is more suitable for a private home... umm... anyway I didn't find out about the fight till later as I was busy telling some stories of my own.

So, yeah, a pretty awesome day. I've had a talk to Kasen and Herbert about the fight. They have both apologised and Mulan said she forgot she was wearing her to get changed before heading downstairs.

I hope Pearl comes around tomorrow.

Matt.

Thursday 25th

Dear Diary,

I felt a sense of frustration this morning as I waited for our new resident to arrive. It seemed that the cowplant just wasn't growing. Or am I being too impatient?

Adelaide had been sleeping rough on the streets for some time. I hoped we could really help her.

She came in with a bit of an attitude.

I laid down the law pretty quick smart. There are rights and responsibilities in life and you can't have one without the other.

Adelaide took it all in pretty good form and then I found myself thinking about Pearl and realized I hadn't heard a thing Adelaide had said to me for the last minute or two.

A workout helped. I couldn't help wondering why Pearl hadn't returned any of my txts or messages.

Mulan asked for a few tips. She much prefers to be reading.

Colt woke up all energetic with energy to burn.

He was quite pleased to see Nick had come over for a visit.

This, as usual.

And then I started upgrading our new oven. Now that I have completed two aspirations I am able to buy new items for the entire house. Alena had a few suggestions as to what might be nice to upcycle next.

Kasen had his own ideas that pretty much focused around more gym equipment.

Winston came round and chatted while I cooked breakfast.

Kasen was nearly caught short. And I kept thinking about Pearls lips.

Adelaide was rather proud of her comments on the forum. *sigh* I give up.

Karli and Winston are good friends.

Wait! What! Oh... maybe more than good friends?

I hadn't seen Alena round much since this morning so I went looking for her. She was fine, just popped next door to the park for some peace and quiet.

Here's my frog collection. I was missing the last two elements so I gave up trying to find them and started breeding frogs instead. So that's how I finished the collectors aspiration. The photo looks a bit funny 'cos I keep my collections on the roof away from anyone who might decide to touch them, just for safety.

We have finally upcycled the PC to the point where it is worth me upgrading. I'm installing a better graphics card. Oooo I can't wait to play Sims on it.

Adelaide's taken up cooking. I think that's great as it takes the pressure of me a little.

And while Colt and Mulan still don't see eye-to-eye about chess, they do agree that there is nothing better than a good cup of coffee.

Winston and Karli worked out together.

And then he kissed her goodbye. Hmm... I'm going to have to ask Winston about it all. After all he is my best friend so it's only right he should spill the beans to me.

Mind you, I haven't told him about Pearl. I'm not so sure there is anything to tell anyway. Pearl still hasn't replied to my txts and when I invited her over, she didn't come.

Friday 26th

Dear Diary,

Finally, it's happened.

Adelaide was the first to play with it.

Then Colt.

Kasen and Herbert have become good friends and enjoy chatting and setting the simverse to rights.

Adelaide nearly got her fingers snapped off so she gave the thing a good telling off.

Alena slept in the park last night and it doesn't seem like she is ready to come home yet.

Colt gave me some gardening advice.

I just took it with a grain of salt. He just likes to shoot the breeze really.

A little later I noticed that Alena doesn't seem to be enjoying the park quite so much.

At least she found the bathrooms.

Errr, not sure that they were that helpful...

I really couldn't wait any longer for Alena to come home so we just all headed out.

Pearl was there, at the gym, she wouldn't even look at me so I just kept my head down and focused on my workout. I haven't a clue what I've done wrong.

Alena came bouncing out from the gym changing rooms looking much more like herself.

And I decided to give Herbert the push he needed to get into shape.

Even when he fell I was unrepentant.

Winston just laughed and told Herbert that he'd feel like a million simoleons in a couple of days so to just go with it.

Adelaide worked hard, but Mulan got somewhat side-tracked with the inspiration for another of her amazing stories.

Mind you her six pack is nothing to scoff at.

I can't believe Alena fell for this.

But she did.

I gave her a few tips later. I have no idea why I'm pulling this face. hahaha

Woah! Mulan's got quite a punch on her now! Note to self: don't mess with her.

Colt did his manly pose while waiting for a shower. Actually, this grunge look kinda suits him.

I was .. um.. desperate by the time I finished coaching Herbert, but boy was it worth it. Herbert looks great!

Nothing like a darn good workout to get your spirits up I say.

Later,

Matt.

Saturday 27th

Dear Diary,

I'm not sure whether I like this thing or not. Regardless it helped me to finish my third aspiration. It was as I was thinking about this, I just snapped.

I phoned Pearl, told her we needed to talk and asked her to get her a to come over as soon as possible.

I swept her off her feet. I'm just not prepared to wait any longer.

As we splashed around in the pool I decided that she was what I wanted.

It just feels so amazingly right when we're together.

So, I took a deep breath...

...held her hands gently...

...and told her that if she knew what was good for her she better give me the right answer.

Which she did.

I felt so alive! Pearl is just so gorgeous.

And when I said I wasn't going to wait any longer... I meant it.

Luckily Pearl felt the same way.

I'm a lucky man.

Matt.

Sunday 28th

Dear Diary,

Mulan and Colt finally decided that the time for their rematch was now. Mulan opened with a classic, yet powerful move.

Colt decisively went on the attack.

Mulan confidently made her next move. Karli and Alena were spellbound.

Colt declared 'meck' triumphantly.

Mulan kept her cool and contemplated her options.

Colt tried distracting Mulan with an unbelievable tale.

The tension was discernible but Mulan held her focus.

Adelaide distracted Colt with her own story while Mulan finally made her move.

Of course the words 'meck chate' didn't go down to well as far as Colt was concerned.

Colt desperately scrutinized the board.

Only to realize, yet again that Mulan was the winner and he had lost not won.

The uproar was tremendous but Colt took it with good grace. Even went as far as congratulating Mulan.

Eventually everyone dispersed to go do their own thing. Alena had a good workout. Herbert and Arianna got sweet.

Actually I had no idea Herbert was such a romantic at heart.

Herbert and Arianna said goodbye to each other rather reluctantly.

The next morning we were all up early cooking breakfast etc. Herbert's a pretty good cook actually.

Kasen thought he'd start the day with a Zebra Fizz... I'm not judging.

Herbert and I had his leaving chat over breakfast.

Arianna and Herbert had got engage last night and so they were moving in together. I was delighted for them both.

The only other thing to happen was Mulan chewing out Adelaide. She said she was sick and tired of Adelaide taking her stuff without asking. Fair enough as far as I'm concerned. I think Mulan can handle this one on her own.

I'll write more later, I've got a cowplant to go feed.

Matt.

You got some great screenshots with Matt's proposal, Pearl in the air and then Matt smiling just as she lands in his arms.. so sweet! It's also amazing with so many different personalities in the house that there are not more fights!  Do I also see a nooboo in the future??  ;)

Thanks KTK10, it seems to me that the more skilled the sims become the less they fight but yelling at each other is totally an insane-trait thing to do! Funny thing is after they finish yelling at each other they just carry on as if nothing happened!
