New Fish - bait?

The new fish are sea trilobyte, sea sludge, and kissing gourami. Does anyone know the baits for these yet?

Have you tried looking over at the Bookstore for the Bait Books?

Sea Sludge's bait are links; Kissing Gourami's is Goldfish; Sewer Trilobite's is Minnow. They can be caught at level 2, 4 and 6 respectively .

According to the Prima Guide, the bait for Sea Sludge is hot dogs.  At first, I took that to mean cooked hot dogs, but maybe they mean links.  I don't know for sure.

Can we get perfect quality links? Like, maybe using the Omni Plant? As far as I know you can't plant the links just by themselves.

I wish I could test it myself, but I can't play for longer than 20 minutes (until my game crashes).

Does anyone know if we will be able to find the new fish in the other neighbourhoods?  Or do they exist only in Bridgeport?

Even if you couldn't find them, you can turn on testingcheats, go to one of the fishing spots, sifht-click the lot to Buy In This Lot, turn on Buydebug and put the spawner there.

They are available. They kinda updated the previous spawners. In Sunset Valley, the Kissing Gourami can be caught at the fishing spot that is near the stadium and Agnes' house, the other two can be caught at the beach.

That's great news, Simsmx.  My Dynasty fisherman had pretty much run out of fishing wishes, this may cheer him up.  Obviously I hadn't been looking at the right places before.  Thank you!

No, we've only ever been able to get normal quality links.  They have to be purchased at the grocery store.

I've just looked all over Sunset Valley in my Clan Douglas Dynasty game.  There are no new fish anywhere.  Have other people been finding them?  There also are no new bait books at the bookstore.

I did find the kissing gourami in Sunset Valley but only at the spots (graveyard, science factory) where it said there was not much fish.
