I appreciate the kind words.  This has been an ordeal and I hope others never have to endure nerve pain.  Just typing is painful, but you do what you have to.  Funny, I don't care how bad I feel, it is coffee and the forum first thing in the morning, lol.

I figured I'd type some of what I know so that people who contributed can get an update and spare her having to type.  I'm glad to see that there are still some donations coming in from time to time. I'll leave that news bit up until the new design is ready. Hopefully Diane gets some relief from pain from the surgery today. I guess that surgery did not restore hand function for her, but has hopefully helped with the pain. Whatever is stiffening her fingers is still a mystery; it is clear that donations will still be helpful to her, given she may need more medical attention. We will have at minimum $200 to contribute from game sales. I'll be talking to her on the phone this evening and hopefully learn more.

Hi!  I haven't posted much in the forums, but I love the site.   I wanted to support you by clicking on the new sims4 Get To Work expansion through your site, but when I click on it, it goes straight to the original sims4 game.
I didn't want to re-direct to the new pre-order, because I could not determine an actual affiliate code in the link - basically, I want to make sure that I am supporting you.
Will you still get the credit if it is not a direct link to the product?   Thanks!

It got fixed!    I clicked on "here" originally  (on your sidebar) and it went to the original game, and I had gotten a popup on EA that says "oops we moved some stuff", but I just clicked on it again to order and it went to the expansion! yay!   Here's to you, Saltypaws!  In addition to supporting Saltypaws through her donation website, I wanted to say thank you again, Carl, for your website, and support you through the purchase of the expansion pack.

I delivered nearly $300 from commissions and a few paypal donations to Diane's gofundme account. Thanks to those of you who did so, it was nice to use our ability to raise awareness to help another person in need. I'm sure she is grateful, though I heard she has to go to another specialist to try and get her situation resolved. Best wishes to her on recovery. Those of you who helped by donating, making orders, or even sharing the link are greatly appreciated

I just want to say again, thank everyone that helped.  I do believe that most donations were from the simming community and I feel very blessed to be a part of it.  What money that I didn't use, I had saved it back and I am glad I did.  With another surgery coming up, it will be used for that also.  So again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
