Yay Doctor Who reference. I always wanted to play Polly but Bridgeport was never my favourite town. Aw, you are just hilarious and I'm eager to see the babies  ;)

Awesome.

This is too funny so far  ;D Can't wait for more.
Well, hopefully, you won't have to wait too much longer for more.  Game-wise, I've already gotten through the heir's birth and first birthday, it's just a matter of finding time to put the update together...which should happen at some point this week...I think...

You haven't changed at all, Pip :')
Nope, not at all.  Consistency is one of my many virtues  ;=)

I try to throw in Doctor Who references when I can without it overtaking the story.
I find Polly rather unconventionally lovely.  Nooboo time will be posted soon.

Broke in Bridgeport: A Townie Decadynasty, Chapter 1.1 The Heir

1.1  The Heir

Pippin:  So, now that you guys have had your lengthy courtship and marriage, I was thinking it was about time for the heir, so...

Polly:  I've got it, Pippin!
Pippin:  Oh, I see.  Yes.  So, why don't I show off the household renovations while you two...so the house has been renovated!

Pippin:  Yep.  Displaying it in buy/build mode because I forgot to take a picture without grid lines.  Wonder how things went with heir generation.

Pippin:  Oh.  Things went well.
Rafael:  So, does our insurance package have paternity leave?

Pippin:  So, what are you wearing, Polly?
Polly:  Maternity wear, obviously.
Pippin:  Oh.  Yes.  Obviously.  Well, at least it's only one odd outfit.

Polly:  And my everyday wear was styled by Lara Croft, Tomb Raider.
Pippin:  Well, that is fittingly odd, I suppose.  Love how it accents the socks with sandals.
Polly:  Anyway, we probably need some extra hands for babysitting and to help with the pollination of the town.
Pippin:  Wow, you really know how these dynasties work.
Polly:  I've been waiting for my turn.
Pippin:  I have some ideas for the pollination role...
Polly:  Nope, got it covered.

Polly:  ...and basically, that's it, Matty.  You get to quit your job, offer help with childcare, and impregnate several women.  So, are you in?

Pippin:  Looks like he's in.

Pippin:  Definitely in.  What's with all the noise, Polly?

Polly:  BABY!!
Rafael:  Baby, are you having our baby, baby?
Polly:  No...I'm just squeezing a station wagon out of my stomach.  OF COURSE I'M HAVING THE BABY!!!!!
Pippin:  And the heir arrives.

Pippin:  Her name is Ellavine.  She's brave and perceptive.  And the firstborn of triplets.

Pippin:  Purnella is artistic and eccentric.  Gianelle is athletic and a heavy sleeper, just like her momma.

Pippin:  Uncle Matty is fantastic with the girls and helps give the proud momma and papa some personal time.

Matty:  In all fairness, I enjoy some personal time as well.
Pippin:  Indeed!  And in seemingly no time at all, we reached the girls' birthday.  First, the princess, Ellavine

Pippin:  and she really doesn't look very amused.  Then, we had Gianelle

Pippin:  followed by Purnella.

Matty:  Speaking of baby girls, I'm going to go say hello to my little darlings.
Pippin:  Yep, he has now fathered two girls, who will be no help in providing a procreative partner for Ellavine.
Polly:  You know the pollinating helps with future generations, not just with Ellavine, right?
Pippin:  Well, yeah, but still...
Polly:  Don't worry, Pippin, there's still the forthcoming baby with Katelyn, and I don't think he's quite done with trying just yet.

Pippin:  Well, it looks like Suzy's through with him.  Anyway, that's him holding baby Britta Strummer in the background and Kirby holding their daughter, Kellee, in the foreground.

Matty:  Kirby, can we talk?
Kirby:  Sure!
Matty:  I'm...I'm afraid I haven't been the man you deserve.

Pippin:  Well, looks like Katelyn thinks she deserves better too.
Kirby:  Don't worry, Matty, I still love you.
Pippin:  Wait, what?
Matty:  And I love you too, Kirby.  I'm sorry I couldn't be more faithful, there's this dynasty and...
Kirby:  Shhh...just enjoy our alone time on the elevator.

Pippin:  Huh...maybe we'll get a baby boy after all...assuming Matty isn't brutally murdered by the two jaded women waiting outside the elevator...

It's all classic you - fourth wall breaking and stuff :D Love it. All your sims are loony and fantastic ;) (honestly, they'd make fantastic Hollanders).

Yeah, unexpected extra work for the caregivers.  Ironically, I was hoping for Matty to have twins or triplets.  Matty's still alive thus far...

And they're all part of the same household. Imagine the drama!
Well, he already had relationship bars built up with them, so it seemed a logical place to start.  Of course, trying to visit his kids became awkward...and he and Kirby just might have made another new baby in the elevator...

Matty's already been caught out, lol.
Yeah, unfortunate for him, but good fun for the readers and his Watcher!

Fantastic Hollanders?  Quite the compliment!  Thanks!

Matty:  So, you see, Kirby, this is why I have to be such a terrible boyfriend.  I have to help out this dynasty that rests on the tiny shoulders of that glorious little girl.

Kirby:  You mean the one eating the blocks?
Matty:  Umm...yeah...
Pippin:  And speaking of that glorious girl, she plays so nicely with her sisters.
Ellavine:  No, bad bebis!  Dees blocks for Edabeen!

Purnella:  We wun play too, Elly!
Ellavine:  No call Eddy!  Me Edabeen!
Gianelle:  Om a wabbit!  Hop hop hop!
Pippin:  And so, our girls continued to grow and learn, Rafael continued to work, Polly continued to nurture the children, and Matty...

Pippin:  kept doing his thing.  Kirby is the most understanding woman in the Simverse.
Polly:  And in more important news, it is finally time for my babies to age up!

Pippin:  Strategy time.  Ellavine ages up early in the morning thanks to the magic of the cake.

Pippin:  She looks excited.  She must know this gives her all day to play and enjoy being a child.

Ellavine:  Yeah, an all day forced intellectual march through tutoring is so much fun.  Thanks, Pippin.
Pippin:  You're welcome.  Then, the other girls had their turns to age up.  First was Purnella,

Pippin:  who inherited her mother's hair.  Then Gianelle,

Pippin:  who got her father's hair.  No idea where Ellavine got her hair, but it is rather outstanding.  And of course, since the girls are no longer toddlers, it was time to make over their room.
Ellavine:  And to finally get rid of the cage?
Pippin:  Oh, umm, yeah...

Pippin:  Bunks for the spares, a loft for the heir, a desk for their academic pursuits, and a dresser for their fashion needs.
Ellavine:  And an actual wall and door.
Pippin:  Yes, that too.  And Matty has been continuing to do what he does, though he now asks to just be friends immediately afterwards.

Matty:  It's the closest I can come to being faithful to Kirby while still filling my role in this dynasty.
Pippin:  That's sweet, in a sick sort of way.  Regardless, seeing Cressida do the heartbroken strut is fairly amusing...and apparently exhausting.

Purnella:  Looks like Uncle Matty's friend is sleepy.  I wonder why all of his friends are girls?
Gianelle:  Well, we're girls, and we're awesome, so that probably made him want more friends who were girls.
Purnella:  That makes sense.
Pippin:  But something in the house wasn't making sense to poor Raf.

Rafael:  Grrr, who did this?!?!?

Rafael:  Argh, I don't have time for all these pranks!
Ellavine:  A mystery prankster is plaguing our community?  I must look into this.

Ellavine:  Uncle Matty, who rather suspiciously is not actually related to us, has had lots of friends over, and they often end up heading into the bathroom, maybe I should keep an eye on them.

Matty:  Hi, Kirby sweetie, I love you so much..  Hug our girls for me.  I'll swing by to see you all soon.
Cressida:  BLARGH!
Ellavine:  Oh, well, that's gross, but it's not pranking.  Hear my words, Mystery Prankster, I will find you!
Pippin:  But time passed, by which we mean a couple of days, and no prankster had been caught, though the prankster's favorite target experienced something else that was colorful.

Gianelle:  Why is daddy all shiny?
Purnella:  Pixie dust!  Run for your lives!!
Pippin:  And Polly also had a visit from the "pixies," (as did Matty, though I seem to be lacking a picture of that)

Pippin:  and before long, the girls had "pixie dust" tie of their own.  It started with Gianelle,

Pippin:  then moved on to Purnella,

Pippin:  and finally, our heiress, Ellavine.

Pippin:  What are you dong outside this late at night, Elly?
Ellavine:  It's Ellavine, not Elly!  And I'm looing for clues.  I will put the Mystery Prankster's reign of terror to an end!
Pippin:  Umm...okay then.  So, let's look at our lovely teen girls.  First, Ellavine not Elly.

Pippin:  Now Gianelle, a bit closer up as I think her eyes are really pretty,

Pippin:  And finally, as she was visiting her cousin, Sebastian Striker, here's Purnella.

Ellavine:  ...and I will not rest until the Mysterious Prankster has been brought to justice!  But first, I'm taking a nap.

Love Ellavine's hair! And her name. Her and Rachyl should team up and find their respective Mysterious Pranksters... though in Rachyl's case it's completely, utterly obvious.

I love Ellavine's character, I wonder if it's an indication to what her career will be?

Thanks!  I've figured out that Ellavine's hair is a Striker gene.  Their cousin (Sebastian's son) has the same color hair.
A Rachyl and Ellavine team-up might be too much to handle!

Hmmm, it just might be  ;=)  Glad you're enjoying her.
