Dirty Dishes!

I've looked all over and can't find this issued reported anywhere; I apologize if this is a repeat. My sims just won't do the dishes! They will pick them up, scrape them off, then set them on the nearest flat surface. I've reset the household, moved the sink, moved the trash cans, nothing works. I know I can drag the dishes to the sink or trash can for them, but hey, I have my own dishes to do! Has anybody else experience this problem?

I have but not all the time. If the sims clean up autonomously then its all fine, if I direct them to clean up they gather some dishes and then have a sort of 'reset' glitch and next thing they are standing still and the dishes are on the floor.

Haven't found a solution, but I feel your annoyance!

It seemed like a bit of overkill, but I did a Repair Game on the Origin site...my sims family is now doing their own dishes!

I've noticed a problem with them doing dishes that are on a bar counter.  If I move the dishes onto a standard kitchen counter top, then my sims clean up with no issues.
