Not totally, Say if you was standing 400 ft and looking at a stop sign and I'm also looking at the same stop sign but at 20 ft. So I'm really close to my computer screen when I do anything on it.

And the font on my computer looks like this.

Is that 20/400 without correction?

I had another proof of my Sim addiction. My monitor died, and laptop is not good enough for Sims to run, so I end up connecting my TV as primary display and played Sims while sitting on a floor and using mouse on the floor too. Resolution is horrible, and I can't read anything almost anything, but I had to play, even like that. And will do that again, probably tonight ::)

Gheez, Anushka! Sims on TV. :) My mom would kill me if I took her TV to play my game. Usually, when a new Sims game is released (Sims 1, 2, 3), I make her buy me a new computer.

I've got a huge, widescreen LCD television that I desperately want to play the sims on, although I can't get it to work lol.

I haven't given up on it yet, however.  ;)

I'm the mom in my home so I get to decide who use TV for what ;D
I managed to improve settings on TV so now game look wonderfull! I'm not really missing monitor, and position I'm playing now is much more comfortable (with all the pillows around me). I'm glad you guys get inspiration and more TVs are used for Sims on PC :D

LOL, I'm not very proud to be one! But I'll "pretend" to be a snob and enjoy the winner part, no matter of what ;D

I was waiting for my computer desk to be delivered and I was going into sims withdrawal, so I thought, hmmm.  I have a 50 inch tv in the living room and thought, well now, wonder what that would look like.  So I hauled the tower into the living room and hooked it up and whoa, those are some big sims on that size of tv.  I couldn't even wait a few hours to get my desk set up.  I thought too, that I would need some sort of cable or something to even hook a computer on this tv, but it went from side to side and top to bottom, first time firing it up.  I kinda suprised at that.  I have often  thought of just hooking it up permanently, but I like the comfort of my room.  I will have to admit, I did call in to work one day, just to play my sims, *looks around to see if anyone I work with heard that*.  lol :)

*ahem*.
My name is Seabody, and I'm a simaholic.

It all started on a regular trip to my local gaming store. If you've read the Introduce yourself thread, You'll know what happened next. If not, I saw the Sims, and thought: "It's better than doing nothing.". How right I was.

I often remember what I was doing during important points in my sims life. For instance: "I remember! I was watching the news while I was building the 3rd story to the house of the Flastpots. (I come up with weird names. A lot.)" Or "Billy was promoted while I was channel surfing."

The most succesful playing I've ever had (or the happiest moments) are when I finished building the Simpsons house, and when I had my first Immortal in the Dynasty Challenge. Or when I played my first game without cheats!  :D

EDIT: I Forgot earlier. I'm such a simaholic, I'm listening to the theme music on YouTube right now! 8)

Thanks for reading.
