I've been stuck with the Roots songs in my head.  I also made the mistake of looking up the regular versions of those songs on YouTube, so I've even got the English words running in my head!

Pam, that was a mistake indeed!
I hardly ever have my Sims listen to the radio, but I can tell you all the words from each of the TV channels, if you like ::)

Yeah, I love the Roots songs, and the Indie ones as well. I'll have to follow your lead and look up the English versions so I'm not singing Simlish to myself all day. But guess what I've got stuck in my head right now: does anyone remember the Flamingo girls from The Sims 1: Making Magic? The little song and dance they used to do? "A-wigga wigga, ooh! A-wigga wigga, uh. A-rooby dooby, ooh! A-rooby dooby, uh." Man, that's catchy and kind of sad that I remembered it.

I've been very bad when it comes to Sims lately.

I've been seeing houses and sizing them up in Sim building standards. There's one house just inside the edge of town I really want to do, because it's a gorgeous, two story house, with a brilliant garden in spring. Right now, though, the garden's so dead looking. I just did it again with a house I've seen in a commercial, and I even noted that the fence that was used as a railing for the house looked exactly like a Sim fence.

I also have not played World of Warcraft in two entire days. That is how bad it has been.

@TollingBells I know how you feel!  I have been trying to become better at making roofs, since auto roof can look very funky at times.  At every stop sign and red light I am looking at the roof lines and think can I make that roof?

Ha! I often see houses and imagine what the occupants look like, then go home and make them on The Sims. Sad, I know. :P

It's the kids channels that drive me crazy! For some reason all my sims seem to always put on the kids channel, no matter what their favourite channel is.

Hi everyone, I've been addicted to The Sims since 2005. It was when The Sims 2 and The Sims 2: University were just released and the game was just great. I was introduced to it by a friend of mine. I then started playing it on my own PC and got addicted to it. I was fascinated by it and got all the expansions and stuff packs once they were released. I have The Sims 2 base game, University, Nightlife, Bon Voyage, Apartment Life, Seasons, Pets, Open for Business, FreeTime expansion packs and Family Fun Stuff, Happy Holiday Stuff, Glamour Life Stuff, Celebration! Stuff, H&M Fashion Stuff, Teen Style Stuff, Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff, IKEA Home Stuff stuff packs. They're all great, but I like Seasons and Open for Business EPs and H&M and Family Fun stuff packs. All changed with The Sims 3. This game changed my life by 360 degrees. I had to buy a new laptop (on which I'm writing right now this post)! That was crazy. I spent all my nerves on installing that game. But I think it was really really worth it. The game is super. Just its graphics make you smile. But the main subject I was impressed by was the new opportunistic and open-ended lifestyle the sims can live. I especially like the new free world system. I really hated the loading screens of The Sims 2 and 1 (I played Sims: Superstar and Makin' Magic some time in 2006 then quited). I had 3 families so far - 1 legacy family (consisting of 8 straight generations), 1 half-legacy (this save file was harmed so I didn't decide to continue it) and the current no-legacy-and-aging-ever family. Each of my 3 houses were worth at least 1.1 million simoleons, but in my opinion the latest house is the fanciest and most perfect. It has the fascinating No Bills Ever lifetime reward which helped me lots. Thanks to Carl's guide to the Seasoned Traveler lifetime wish, my sim, Katy Roberts, accomplished the visa level 3 in Shang Simla, China with just one trip of 6 days! That was great, I have the Pangu's axe now and many friends in China thanks to effectively adjusted trip! Thanks to everyone on this forum and people working on it and the magnificent guide the sister site is providing! Thanks a lot.

I still have my original Sims game disks and every computer I've bought since, has been spec'd so as to run the next version of the Sims. I've called off work to play Sims, missed family events to play Sims, and definitely gone without showering and eating playing Sims. It's usually worse when a new expansion comes out. I tend to wander off after a few weeks. But, then something brings me back, like a new career idea or a building I see and want to duplicate. I felt so bad about downloading so much content for Sims 2, that I started sending donations. I've probably donated several hundred dollars over the years. I never thought my content was worth uploading, but I've had friends tell me I should. But, everything I build is massive. Malls, farms, etc. and uses a lot of content other people have created. :-\
I have no intention of changing my simful ways. ;) I am a simmer for life!

You know you're a simaholic when you have simlish songs stuck in your head instead of regular songs.

I had my sim listen to her favorite pop radio station, and I listened to a song there that's named "Outta Here". I've heard about that song 2 years ago but never listened to it as I didn't have it, but I can sing it in Simlish now instead of normal English! I know this is a bit confusing and ridiculous.  :-[  ;D LOL I also hope they put a new radio station with Outdoors Living Stuff Pack like they did with Fast Lane Stuff Pack and patch 15 (the Rockabilly station and the Vehicle Enthusiast trait). Something like real pop music with some electropop!

That happened to me too! I listened to a song so much then I actually found the REAL version. So then I began to listen to it all the time for a little bit. Now I've listened to it so much I'm sick of it xD

My name is Platnum and I'm a SimAddict. Ok I see its been awhile since anyone posted here but I am in need of support. My computer crashed so I don't have the Sims game on my computer. I'm loosing my mind. My laptop kept crashing everytime I played the game so I tried uninstalling it to reinstall it. However my computer kept shutting off everytime. So I had to recover my computer to when I first got it. But now its still not working to I have to get it fixed. So its not a good idea to load the game yet. I'm going to withdrawals.  :D

Hehe. Yesterday in Science at school, my teacher asked if any of us knew what this green, diamond shaped gem was called. Can you guess what I called out?
Without thinking of course, I shouted- PlumbBob!
And then everybody thought I had lost my mind, even the teacher. ;D I am so addicted.
