My Sim, Eddie Evil, has got a wish to get a hot tub but I haven't even got Late Night yet, what should I do?

If your Sim tried for baby in a hot tub, there's a chance the baby will be born with the Hydrophobic or Party Animal trait.

@Sims3lover2010 - Just ignore it. I've had sims wish to get a hot tub and I don't own Late Night. It's almost as if EA is making our sims tell us to buy their products. :P

@simsmx - does that mean the sim baby might be born with one trait chosen even if you treat the mother really well?

I doubt it.  We don't know where simsmx got this information, so we don't know how valid it is.  I think if the mother has a good pregnancy, you'll be able to choose both traits as usual.

One other thing I just noticed:  even in the penthouse that came with a hot tub, if I tried to move it around, I was not able to put it back in its original place.

In other words, there's no way they could have installed it at all without using a cheat code.  I don't know which cheat code to use, but I'm sure someone does.

Probably "moveobjects on". I've had to use that often when trying to put EA content back in its original place when editing or, e.g., if I move something in game. Yesterday I moved someone's dining table outside (in Twinbrook, in a premade house with premade furnishings that hadn't been moved) for a party, then had to use moveobjects on to get it back into the dining room after the party was over.

It seems sims with the shy trait will not skinnydip. Sara had no option to do so, yet other sims did. Her best friend Tessa has no problem slipping in nude to chat or cuddle (which seems not to give negative moodlets), it seems to be a hidden gameplay rule for shy sims.

I just wanted to point out - and I apologize if someone has mentioned this before - I think having young Sims on the lot will keep Adult Sims from skinny-dipping or doing other more scandalous activities in the Hot Tub.  I'm pretty sure a sleeping baby many rooms over kept my happy old grandparents from getting the most of out of their Hot Tub, if you know what I mean.

Yes, it's true.  Sims cannot skinnydip if there is a child anywhere on the lot.  I'm not sure if it counts for teenagers.

You cannot go skinnydipping with a teenager on the lot either

So thus far we got:

    No nude swimming/skinny dipping when:
    • Underaged are on the lot.
    • The sim has the shy trait.

Has it been tested if sims with the never-naked trait can skinnydip?

So far since I have been playing I have seen three different kinds of hot tubs. The regular one we all see alot, the zen type one with the plants, and my celebrity sim was just gifted a grotto type hot tub that I have not seen in buy yet.

Ah yes, that last one is indeed pretty nice. It is slightly bigger than the other two and provide sims with more fun to. If you're interested: you can find it in buydebug to if you like.

He named 'wiki' underneath hist topic, so I guess he was reffering to simwiki, where he got his information. I personally think we can trust the information that came from that site.

Leto, you can't really trust some of those sites because anyone can create an account and add to the information there.  Read it again because he actually said  'As I posted on the Wiki'.   ;)

And he said he was the one that posted that information on that site, so where did he get the information to post?
The main page says you can create an account and edit the site. That is why I said the information posted there can't always be trusted.

Anyway, we are off topic and need to get back to posting about Hot Tubs  ;D.
