Crazy long lifespan
« on: January 11, 2015, 06:01:34 PM »
Hi friends!!
So I am currently playing a Berry Legacy and my two sims started as separate households before I eventually moved them in together. I played him for the majority of the time so the game did some weird stuff with my female sim. First she worked at the fair grounds (and so was totally unavailable since she worked the ENTIRE day) and then I went in and played her for a bit to get her a different job. After I went back to my male sim the game had moved her out of her house. She could still come over and be interacted with but she didn't live anywhere. I was able to get them to move in together but she now has a crazy long lifespan of like 217 more days for YA while he only has 20! I will probably just age her up when he does bc 217 days is just a bit too much of an age difference. Has anyone else seen something like this happen? More importantly, is there anything I can do to fix it aside from just triggering the age transition when the time comes? Changing the lifespan in the options menu also does not affect her (it does make her lifespan longer/shorter but doesn't make it the same number of days as her partner)

Whenever you leave one household to play another, the game starts it's own story progression. Your sims that you left in the other house might get jobs, get married, move, and even have children while your away playing another household. The ages pan thing could be 2 things I think. Either she is of the occult, a vampire or fairy. Or my other guess is that she got a job at the fairgrounds she got a crazy long lifespan because she became one of those townie sims that works somewhere. Hope that helps!

Well there's your problem!

Fairies have a very long lifespan, with their young adult and adult life stages being five times longer than the regular ones. Vampires have the same one.

There's the answer!

Genies and Werewolves also have extended lives, just not quite as much.

I think genies have one twice as long as the normal one, and werewolves have one that's 1.5 times as long.

Remember that this is only for the young adult and adult lifespans. The other ones are the same for all life states.
